The struggles I have had coming into senior year is not organized. I would not take my

time writing my papers and would never get them revised. It was very challenging for me

because I did not know how to answer the prompts correctly. A few of my weaknesses were

being lazy and procrastinating. My writing would sometimes not have a work cited pages, not

because I didn’t want to do it, but because I had difficulties with the format. Throughout my

senior year, my English class helped me understand the importance of writing.

What I have accomplished as a writer is how to organize my papers and include all

information needed. This would help in the future by not missing one piece of information

needed for my papers. It will keep me organized for any paper that I need to accomplish. It is

very important for me to keep my papers/format organized, if you do not keep your paper

organized your paper will not be in the correct format going with the flow. I have accomplished a

lot of my goals that I set in my 2018-2019 school year. My strengths in writing now are reading

and revising my papers. My best essay is my social issue because I focused very hard on

including all the right information. My social issue paper includes all the right information. I

made sure I got two people revise my paper because they can see what I missed. It helped me a

lot because they see something I missed, and I made sure I fix it.

How I feel about the senior portfolio is that it is very challenging. It was very difficult to

accomplish this senior portfolio. I struggled so much to the point where I broke down and I did

not care about turning in my assignment. Being a senior is very hard, but you need to keep your

focus and make sure you have a lot of supporters by your side. I overcame these challenging

obstacles and accomplished my all my goals. The senior portfolio takes a lot of patience because

it will be very hard for you to complete. Make sure you get your papers revised because they will
help a lot when your making corrections. You should always make sure you are following the

rubric because that would guide you through your papers. Never wait for the last minute to do

your papers because they would not be well typed. What I learned the most when it came to my

senior portfolio is how to manage my time wisely and made sure that I everything was included.

The goals I have for the future is to have all of my papers revised and well typed.

I will manage my time wisely to finish my typing assignments. I need to manage my time

better and put more work into my papers because putting thirty minutes a day is not

enough to finish typing an essay. I need to work on typing my essay’s on time. I will take

these strategies throughout my college careers. These strategies have helped complete all

my papers. My writing goals for the future is always having patience and you will

manage to finish your paper.
