Ancient Rome Did NOT Build THIS Part 2 - World's LARGEST Stone Columns - Lost Technology -
Baalbek
The world's LARGEST solid stone columns ever made - but WHO made them? Massive stones of
Baalbek, Lebanon, the Temple of Jupiter & the Temple of Bacchus - at the Heliopolis.
Just because you can’t figure out how they did it, doesn’t mean aliens helped them.

Way too much evidence of very advanced civilizations before recorded time. Period.
Zoey Love - I agree. Rob Skiba has an excellent video on the Genesis 6 experiment.
Giants? That's the same intellectually lazy explanation ignorant medieval people gave for
Stonehenge because they weren't smart enough to invent anthropology and archaeology. They
were too busy fighting in wars and dying of the plague to invent those things.
Alexander Brandt
Are you people trolling, or are you really this stupid? Built by giants... armies of gorillas couldn't lift
this shit. How big are these giants? How does that work, are they just supposed to be larger
versions of us, because there's some problems with that, blood pumping would be quite difficult.
We're giants compared to the people around 2,000 years ago, we're about 25% taller, if we get
another 25% taller we get massive health problems on account of our volume increasing as a
squared function.
@Alexander Brandt
The book of Enoch is one of many history books that talks about Giants...
I'm still waiting for a Real picture of EARTH for almost 50 years...

Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. He was a Roman architect in the 1st century BC. You can read his writings
on architecture: The Architecture of Marcus Vitruvius Pollio: In Ten Books.
The man was a genius, and his methodologies would allow for the movement of massive stones
using pulleys, water, man and animals in coordination. Before reaching judgment on the
movement of massive stones his works need to be studied and used in contrast to claims of
supernatural beings

Actually there is a much simpler method, which is to pile up large stones around the site, then
smaller stones between, then gravel and dirt between those. As you drag one layer of base
stones/columns, then you increase the pile, etc. When the structure is finished, then you just dig
the dirt/gravel/stones away. In those times, slaves were cheap, you could conquer some region,
get a few thousand slaves to drag your stones, then when they died off from overwork, you
invanded some other happless region of the country. It is all quite conceivable, as far as I can see.

I've visited Baalbek. It is an ominous place. I have a minor in Classics and do not recall any
discussion on Baalbek. The size of the structures is overwhelming. The tour guides say the original
structures pre-dated the Romans and, as is the custom, Rome invaded, claimed and renamed the
temples after their gods and added other elements. Our tour guide had no problem admitting
their is no explanation for the transport or size of the stones.

Don't normally comment on this kind of thing, but can't help myself here. You have very little
knowledge of rigging. Give a professional rigger today a thousand people and material resources,
and they'd be able to recreate these feats. A person familiar with the usage of rope, rollers,
pulleys, counterweights, and lever arms can think of ways to get this done.
On an aside, you're saying these stones can't be moved with modern technology? You're an idiot.
You should take a look at what is accomplished daily in the oil and gas industry to catch up on your
scope of what's possible when it comes to rigging large things.
pi•r^2 • L • specific weight of rose granite = 3,14 • (1,25)^2 • 5 • 2691 = 66014 kg that is 66 tons

No human civilization of the past that we know of, have any record of, or were in fact "Human's"
erected any of these monoliths! Once you stop believing any of the modern-day theories about
any of these monuments you are on you way to the truth. So who or what did it? I don't know,
but then neither does anyone else!

It is a very stable structure, which makes it useful for creating primitive arches (before the
invention of rounded arches). It is not infeasible, from an engineering standpoint, that engineers
from disparate civilisations would come to the same solutions to similar problems. The bow, spear
and sword, were all invented in parallel by multiple different civilisations, in different time periods,
so it's not unrealistic to imagine that other things could be discovered and invented in isolation.
The question of how the largest stones were moved and set, is indeed a matter of some debate. If
I had to make a practical guess, I would say it took a lot of people, over a long period of time.
As for how the blocks were put int place? I would say they used sand instead of earth. Sand does
not compact as well soil, and also because of how loose it is would have allowed the stones to
move over relatively easily, compared to dirt.
Either way, one should remember that historians are working with incredible low amounts of
concrete information, so much of what they do is guesswork. All the current theories are based
on available information at the time of formulation, and should be taken as such: as accepted
theories, not fact. Theories can, and indeed should, be revised upon the discovery of new
information.

I'm sorry I've seen both your videos. The Roman's had iron and other metals. If you just look at
there god devices for the temples you will see how advanced they were. We have had the wheel
forever. All these civilizations had the wheel. What do you think a bead is? Lockes levies etc. They
could tell the time built mechanical computers but your saying they were not advanced enough...
sorry but I cant believe this. Mathematics were at the forefront and hydronic systems were built.
Precision was a must and they could compute what needed to be done per square inch. Alot of
civilization could do this. It didn't take a huge labor force, even though they had the man power to
figure this out. It's crazy to believe just bc we dont know exactly how that they couldnt have done
what they did. Crazy. If u ask an engineer to figure out how to move a 2 million pound block using
whatever materials they could write up how to do it.

For me, it's settled science...the cataclysm of 13,000 years ago (probably comets) and the fact that
there were highly advanced (now lost) civilizations on every continent. Here's our problem: we
couldn't manipulate these stones and build these structures today - and we've landed rovers on
Mars - so how could they do it? Only if they were super human, with powers of levitation and
technology far beyond ours could this have been accomplished. Still, does anyone else find it
curious that their technology seems to be limited, on the surface anyway (pun intended since no
one bothers to dig at these various sites) to cutting, moving and lifting massive stones? Where's
the trains, planes, and automobiles...and Starbucks? Spoiler alert! All of our answers lie buried 15
feet down at Puma Punku. Oh well.

Imagine THIS. We could do this. If we had to - and tried. We have the technology. Today we look at
the most survivable remnants of history.
Cement dissolves in 100 years. Iron rusts away in less than 200 years. Cloth and paper in less that
50. Everything we have made will vanish in less than 2500 years. IF THERE WAS ANOTHER CYCLE
OF US, 10000 YEARS AGO? We would never know. Look at how fast things disintegrate, and stories
get lost. Two generations? Six if you are famous. We are NOT the first...

You are way over thinking this when ancient civilizations would use K.I.S.S. methodology. Jean-
Pierre Houdin, a French Architect, figured out how the Egyptians built the pyramids using internal
spiral ramps, one layer at a time till they reached the top then worked a final carving as they
retreated down and filled the ramp. This technique would be well known by the time of the
Romans and was most likely used. The columns are round cylinders and would be much easily
moved regardless of distance, they once the foundation was set they would simply build one layer
at a time as they spiraled upward. The columns are close enough together that spacer blocks were
placed in between and used as a ramps till they reached the top levels then again would do a final
carving and removal of access stone as they retreated down.

Janette Francis
Yes its amazing, but I think it could have been done. We all know necessity is the mother of
invention. We don't have all the information of the technology of these people because once
something better was devised the old ways were not used and forgotten. From my experience,
when you have no mechanical help, and you're on your own you don't pull a couple of tons up a
hill, you push and chock, inch by inch. Been there, done that. As you point out the area is near two
large water bodies. If I was an engineer wanting to move these large blocks I'd build a canal with
locks, fill it with water and float them up. Easy.

they found an roman book saying how they did it, they carved the stone where it was, and made
wheel to both side of the stone, so the stone became the shaft of these two wheels, so it was
carried. ancient people was expert in mechanics, we just need to think simple to understand, now
we are thinking about cranes etc. that is the problem..
