Preparations Necessary: • Have all the sheets printed out and ready to go
• Have the Kahoot ready for practice
• Have index cards to make presentation cards
Lesson Content
• **End each day by practicing using the Kahoot**

• Talk about and compare the two parts of the video and what we wrote
• Continue on to introducing the cue card for what a good presenter looks and sounds like

• Let student know this will be used anytime he presents, I present, or we watch a presentation
• Make index cards for presentation using key words to remember while presenting
• PRACTICE KAHOOT
• Teacher will present the students presentation and the student will fill out the presenter card on
how I did based on our expectations
• This is so the student can see in real life what a good presenter looks like while presenting
• Then go through and discuss what the student what the student filled out and why
• The student will present and the teacher will fill out the presenter card
• The teacher will video tape the lesson, mainly so the student gets used to being filmed and
going over the film afterwards
• Have the student fill out a presenter card for the first half of the video
• Discuss what the student filled out on their presenter card for the first half of the video
• Have the student fill out a presenter card for the second half of the video
• Discuss what the student filled out on their presenter card for the second half of the video
• Do a Kahoot

• If it is not 100%, go over the answers, practice again, and administer the quiz the next day
• Pick 2-3 presenter strategies that the student will add into their presentation
• Put these strategies on index cards and have the student practice
• Teacher will video tape and we will go through the video together and fill out a presenter card
• If the student likes the strategies, keep the cards in and practice again
• If the student wants to add or change any strategies, make an index card
• The teacher can go through and practice the presentation with the new strategies as well, video
taped and go through it with the student
• Discuss with the student that it is important to use these skills and strategies whenever they are
presenting
• Teacher will record the presentation and the student will self-reflect by watching the video and
filling out a presenter card
• Let the student know this is exactly what they will be doing when they do their final presentation!
