the intrapersonal intelligence of the model proposed by howaed
gardenar in the theory of multiple intelligences that is defined as
the capacity that allows us to know ourselves through a self-
analysis.

To excel in subjects such as mathematics or language is important, but it

may not be enough to achieve adequate personal development. However, if
these skills are complemented by a good intrapersonal intelligence, which
is th ability to know oneself and act accordingly, the chances of
succeeding at work and being happy and satisfied on a personal level
increase.

Intrapersonal intelligence is one of the components of the multiple

intelligences model proposed by howard gardner. This model advocates
that there is no single intelligence, but a multiplicity (initially proposed
7, which then increased to 8).

Intrapersonal intelligence refers to slf-understanding, access to one´s

own range of feelings, the ability to discriminate these emotions and
finally name them and use them as a means of interpreting and guiding
one´s behavior.

People who possess remarkable intrapersonal intelligence possess viable

and effective models of themselves. But being this form of intelligence the
most private of all , requires other expressive forms so that it can be
observed in operation.

Intrapersonal intelligence allows you to understand and work with

others, intrapersonal intelligence allows you to understand yourself . in
there individual sense of oneself it is possible to find a mixture of
intrapersonal and intrapersonal components . the sense of oneself is one
of the mast remarkable human inventions: it symbolizes all the possible
information regarding a person and what it is . it is an invention that all
individuals construct for themselves.
The qualities of a person with intrapersonal intelligence
Intelligence is the ability to form a tight and true model of oneself and be
able to use it to function in life. This type of intelligence is directly
related, therefore, to the knowledge of the person and the ability to
have a precise and objective individual image. It also implies being aware
of inner moods, intentions, temperaments and capacity for self-
understanding and self-esteem.

The main qualities of people with well-developed intrapersonal

intelligence are :

 Capacity for self-discipline and self-control.

 High self-esteem.
 Consciousness of one´s own limitations and knowledge , that is, self-
compression.

People with intrapersonal intelligence are able to analyze the reason

of their thoughts and attitudes being able to correct behaviors and
actions that do not suit them.

They also have more possibilities to make the right choices when choosing
which jobs to accept.
