Concremote
The real time, in place measuring
device for concrete www.doka-me.com
Real-time concrete monitoring
Lifting concrete construction to the next level.

Concremote is based on the weighted maturity method which enables contractors, consultants and asset owners to measure
actual compressive strength as well as early age quality parameters of concrete. This ensures not only higher quality in construc-
tion, proper documentation and safer execution but can also save a lot of time and money in the construction stage.

Weighted maturity
method

The weighted maturity

method is a way of deter-
mining concrete strength
by considering time,
temperature and characte-
ristic values of concrete and
cement. These parameters
result in a so called maturity
of the concrete.

The fundamental base of

this method is that equal
maturity is equal strength
for a certain mix design.
Because of that, Concre-
mote can relate maturity  Maturity development of tested concrete
and compressive strength to
each other.

In-place measurements Covering all applications

Concremote provides in-place and real time data instead Concremote is applicable on slabs, walls, columns, rafts, civil

conditions than actual structures and do not reflect the actual
concrete strength of a structure.

Calibration box

The calibration boxes come with three cube moulds each and
are designed to measure the temperature development of
concrete cubes.

The collected data is used for calculating concrete maturity

while the cubes are tested one after another during the
calibration.

Slab sensor Cable sensor

The slab sensor is simply placed on the surface of the slab The cable sensor consists of two components, the cable sen-
and automatically switches on when the measuring tip points sor as transmitting device and, depending on the application,
downwards. Switched on, the sensor starts measuring and the respective measuring unit. For wall measurements, a so-
transmitting temperature data via GSM network to the Con- called wall sensor measures the concrete temperature through
cremote data centre. After the measurement is completed the the formwork and is connected via cable to the cable sensor.
sensor can easily be removed again. For applications where internal temperature measurements
are required, a cable with one or three temperature probes is
placed inside the concrete and connected to the cable sensor.
As soon as one of those two measuring units is connected to
the cable sensor the data transmission starts.

Calibration is key
Knowing a mix design means knowing it’s potential.

In order to relate the measured maturity of a certain structure to actual compressive strength, the used mix design has to be
calibrated once.

Target value

Before calibrating the con-

crete, the target value has to
be defined. This target value
can vary, depending on the
application.

ƒ early striking
ƒ post tensioning
ƒ climbing operations

The principle of this calcula-

tion is the ratio between the
loads during construction
and the loads in the final

Advancing workflows
Concremote improves workflows effortless.

During application, the Concremote sensors regularly measure the temperature development of the fresh concrete and transmit
the data to the Concremote data centre. The strength development is calculated and immediately accessible in the Concremote
web portal, login.doka.concremote.com.
