water and mineral resources. Adding to that IGS has 10 expert teams to
provide quality service all over India.
Currently in this field we are using seismic technology to detect
ground water and mineral resources.
Current status of water.
Due to severe drought in India the water range has gone below
which resulted in scarcity of water for all purpose like agriculture,
household and factories.
Because of this scarcity, farmers are drilling many Borewells to
protect their crops. But in many places the borehole drilling fails which
leads to the loss of money.
To rectify this situation IGS Company provides service to locate
the ground water with 90% accuracy.
Technology details.
It is scientifically proved that seismic technology helps in
identifying ground water, mineral resources, rock formation and nature
of rock.
 To identity the ground water in this method a heavy hammer is
used to hit strongly on an iron plate placed above the land surface to
create seismic waves.

In this process, the waves hits the water level stored in between
the rocks and gets reflected back. The reflected waves are recorded in a
device in the upper surface of the earth. After that this recorded waves
are processed by software specially designed for this purpose. All the
Other methods of ground water identification are focusing on a specific
point but in seismic technology entire land is surveyed in grid pattern.
So that the ground water storage size in that particular land is perfectly
identified.
 Finally we get the ground water location, depth, density and
outflow capacity in 2D as well as 3D view with 90% accuracy.
Technology highlights.
1) Ground water location, depth, layers and outflow can be
determined.

2) Ground water location and depth can be viewed in 2D and 3D

view.
3) Water identification to the maximum of 1500 feet can be done.

4) Entire land will be surveyed in grid pattern which helps to

determine the size of ground water package.

5) Borehole drilling in area with very less water storage can be

avoided.

6) Drilling below the unnecessary depth can be avoided.

7) This technology helps in detecting ground water efficiently up to

80% to 90% accuracy.

8) Unwanted Money loss can be avoided using this technology.

 9) Survey report for the entire land surveyed will be provided.
Bore well failure reasons.
1) From olden days to till now all methods used to detect ground
water are based on earth magnetic radiation. In that method the
magnetic radiation for water (EMR) is not correctly identified.

2) Borewells that are not drilled in the center of groundwater

package.

3) The borehole machine rod cross occurs while drilling Borewells.

4) Many Borewells are drilled in the same water range.

5) Borewells that are drilled in the naturally existing cavities.

 6) Borewells that are drilled in rock fracture zone which has no
water channels results in failure.

7) Unwanted vibrations occurred in earth during survey will also

result in failure.

Survey rules.

1) Survey land should be either square or rectangle and that too in

one place.

2) Survey land should be empty without any agriculture.

3) Survey land should not be too wet and it should not have rock
surface.
 4) There should not be any disturbing noises or vibrations such as
high voltage electric lines, train crossing sound, factory sound, and
busy road transport, functioning of motor pump set and drilling of
boreholes in and around the survey land. This may affect the
accuracy of this technology. So try to avoid all these during
survey.

Conditions.
1) The seismic records taken by us during the survey is sent to the
foreign company who provide us this service. We locate the water
with the help of the result they send us back in 2D and 3D view.

2) The quality of the seismic record is based on the nature of the

survey land. Unwanted natural and artificial vibrating waves
caused during survey may reduce the quality of the records.

3) We are unable to guarantee 100% success because of the bore

well failure reasons mentioned above and also the foreign
company who provide us this service do not give any assurance
for 100% success.

4) The seismic records are taken with the maximum accuracy of 80%
with our experience to provide greater results.

5) Beyond this, the company will not be responsible for the mistakes
from all other natural and artificial constraints.
6) The amount for doing the survey will be fixed by IGS company
based on the range of land to be surveyed. The amount has to be
given to the field officer immediately after completing the survey
in the form of cash or any other bank transactions (Net banking
money transfer, demand draft). Cheques will not be accepted.
This service amount is nonrefundable.

7) Along with our service charge, 18% of our service charge will be
for goods and service tax (GST) which is recently launched by our
government.
