Dear Exhibitor,
Thank you for your participation in the upcoming SIAL INTERFOOD show, being held on 11 - 13 November 2015 at
Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia.
The purpose of this Exhibitors’ Manual is to efficiently assist your company in preparing for your forthcoming participation
in this exhibition.
You are advised to study this manual carefully and thoroughly to ensure that all relevant matters are processed smoothly
and arranged properly. You should have a copy of all forms for your reference, so that queries can be clarified immediately
should they arise.
Upon completion of the relevant forms, please visit and fill in at https://www.kristaexhibitions.com/exhibitor/login, using
your username and password to log in. Please note that you will receive your username and password by email. In case there
would be any trouble, please email to exhibitormanual@kristamedia.com.
In the unlikely case you could not fill in the forms online, please feel free to, once duly completed, either email them to the
email address above or fax them to +6221 6340140, 6342113, 63869154 with respective companies stipulated on the top
right hand corner of the forms. We would be grateful if you could observe closely the deadlines for submission.
We will endeavour to maintain rates and prices quoted for all items contained herein. However, there is a possibility that
these may vary depending on the availability of material or labor before the opening of the Exhibition.

Important Notice:
If you wish to exhibit at SIAL INTERFOOD 2015 as part of a collective pavilion, some technical order forms may have
been already handled directly by your pavilion organizer, on behalf of all the exhibitors.
To avoid ordering twice, please check with your pavilion organizer firstly before ordering any specific item.
Logistic Notice:
Exhibitors need to take care of logistic issue; organizer will not take responsibility of any delay or overcharge.

How to access

By Taxi
Inform the driver that you are heading to JI-EXPO, Arena PRJ Kemayoran or you could show the map to the driver.
Taxi is the best transportation to take you either to JI Expo Kemayoran or to other places. You could
find taxis either at Trade Mart on JI Expo Kemayoran or at Airport.
By Car
From the Airport, please take the highway Jl. Bandara Soekarno-Hatta directly to Jl. Prof. Sedyatmo Highway. Keep right
at the fork and follow signs for Tol/Lingkar Dalam/Jakarta. Keep right to continue on Jl. Tol Pelabuhan and take the Exit to
PRJ Kemayoran/Ancol. Continue on Ancol Gate Highway/Jl. Benyamin Suaep until you reach JIEXPO (on your right side).
From Jl. Gunung Sahari Raya, take Jl. Angkasa to Jl. Benyamin Suaep until you reach JIEXPO.

By Public Transportation
From the Airport, please take the bus to Poris from where you can then take the Railway heading to Duri. At Duri Station,
please take the railway to either Rajawali or Kemayoran which are the closest stations to the venue. From there, please
note that you should still ride a car or a taxi to get to JIEXPO as it would be around 15 minutes away by driving.
From the City Center, please go to Sudirman station and take the railway to either Rajawali or Kemayoran which are the

You can also use the TransJakarta bus network. From Harmoni Central Busway, head to Kota with Line 1. From there, please
take line 12 heading to Tanjung Priok and get off at stop 12-11 Kemayoran Landas Pacu Timur.
From there, we would highly recommend you to ride a taxi as walking to JIEXPO is not convenient.

A. Build Up
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the recent construction of Hall B3 and C3, our international halls for SIAL
InterFOOD 2015, no riggings can be used during the exhibition. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Permit for moving in/out all exhibits can be obtained by following the few steps below:
• Move In/Out schedule will be sent to all exhibitors as a reminder on October 26, 2015. It will gather specific build up
schedules during build up and the contact person on site. All exhibitors are expected to be ready with their exhibition
materials by this time.
• There will be no electricity during the first day of build up (November 9) and during dismantling. Please contact your
contractor for your own generator on build up and dismantling day.
• Build up starts exactly at the given time. All exhibitors with special designs are expected to assemble their systems
within this period. Assembling shall be done by the official contractor for those exhibitors who availed of its booth
system package.
• Exhibit Heights And Weights
Exhibitors should notify the organizer of any item of machinery over 3 metres high, or exceeding one ton in weight.
Exhibits on stand service or package stands may not exceed the fascia height of 2.5 m without the written permission
of the organizer.
• Air-Conditioning
Air conditioning will operate in the hall during the opening period of the show only. No air conditioning will be
provided during build up or dismantling periods.
• Exhibition halls open one hour before the exhibit. Replenishing of goods and stocks, fixing and arranging of booths
should only be done within the given period. All users of the exhibit halls are expected to ensure cleanliness within
their own booth.
• Those wearing slippers, sandals and short pants shall not be allowed entry into the exhibition hall.
• Sanitation within the booth area shall be maintained by the exhibitor.
• All exhibitors are strictly prohibited from using the aisle as display/storage during show days. Please keep materials
within your designated booth areas.
• Persons below 18 years old are not allowed during show days.
• No one is allowed to use the main entrance at any given time to bring in items to be used/sold during the fair.
Exhibitors are advised to use the loading bay entrance for this purpose.

C. Dismantling
• Dismantling starts exactly at the given time. All exhibitors with special booth designs are expected to dismantle their
systems within this period. Dismantling shall be done by the official contractor for those exhibitors who availed of
its booth system package.
• For reasons of security, safety and obligation towards exhibitors and visitors, no display material or exhibit may be
dismantled before 7 pm on Friday, 13 November.
• The Organizer accepts no responsibility for items brought into the exhibition hall by the exhibitors, contractors, or
their respective servants, agents, sub-contractors or invitees. Such items will remain at the owner’s sole risk within
the exhibition stand.
D. General Security
• General security provided by the organizer should not be expected to provide more than a presence to inhibit
theft. Security guards will patrol the exhibition hall in general, but their duties will not include specific attention to
individual stands.
Please note that you may NOT use any personnel from any other company other than from the official security
agency. Your staff will not be allowed to stay overnight in the exhibition hall.
It is impossible to provide complete protection against theft. We strongly advise that cameras, telephone handsets,
souvenirs, valuable documents, etc. are kept in secured cabinets or rooms. Please also ensure that your exhibits are
properly insured. The following simple precautions may be helpful:
1. Lock up all valuables including souvenirs before you leave your stand at the end of each day. Display these
valuables only when your booth is manned.
2. On the last evening of the exhibition, once the show closes, remove all valuables for immediate packaging and
return to your office or factory. DO NOT leave your stand unattended. DO NOT leave exhibits, souvenir items,
consumables etc. on your stand, not even in locked cupboards as all furniture will be retrieved by suppliers once
the show is over. DO NOT take chance with your valuable - once they are lost it will be almost impossible to
recover them.
Security Procedure
1. Please wear appropriate badges at all times within the exhibition complex as personnel without proper badges will
be refused entry into the compound.
2. Movement in and out of the exhibition halls will be restricted to designated control points, including freight
movement.
3. Only vehicles for delivery purposes will be allowed into the freight yard. All vehicles will be inspected jointly by
the appointed security agency and the venue owner at entry point.
4. Identification & security checks will be carried out at the entry points for all personnel, including exhibitors,
visitors and contractors.

Not included: Daily clean-up of booth during the show opening days. For power supply, water connection and any
other techinal service, please refer to the related forms included in both the E-Manual (online) and this Exhibitor’s
Manual P. 20.

• Special Design stands are to abide by the Rules and Regulations of this Exhibitors’ Manual.
• Exhibitor with special design stands or upgrading their stands will have to ask their appointed contractor to fill in
Form 9.
• You may only appoint your own stand contractor according to the list of our official and supporting contractors,
with the exception of electrics. All official and supporting contractors are required to guarantee that they will
complete preparation on time and accept liability for any damage or garbage clearance. Other contractors which
are not listed as our official or supporting contractors are not permitted to enter the exhibition area.
• Exhibitors building their own stand must submit a drawing of their stand design with dimensions to the show
organizers for their approval.This drawing should be attached to the related form, completed with the name of the
stand contractors and send to exhibitormanual@kristamedia.com.

• Maximum height of stand structures inside the halls is 4.5 m. It is not permitted to exceed 4.5 m without the
organiser’s written permission.
• All stands must have one third of the frontage on each side open, or fitted with transparant material.
• For double-decker stands of more than one storey high, detailed plans must be submitted to the organizer in
advance for approval. Upper storeys may not exceed a total of 6 m in high and occupy no more than 30% of the
ground floor area. Upper storey space will be charged at 50% of the “raw space” price. Double-decker stands
minimum floor size or space for more than one storey must be 36 sqm.
• No exhibitor or agent may use the exhibition hall, ceiling, pipes, fixtures, floors or wall in any way (i.e. nailing.
wiring or fixing of any exhibits to any existing structures is strictly prohibited). No exhibitor or his contractor
may use any wall belonging to any other stand.
• No stand, exhibit, floorcovering or lighting shall extend beyond the exact dimensions specified in the exhibitors’
space contract. e.g. fascia boards may not project into the aisle, nor can furniture or plants be placed in the aisles.
It is not permitted to bridge gangways in any way with standfitting, nor to place exhibits or floorcoverings in the
aisles. Exhibitors must lay floor covering over the whole area of the stand, taped down on all edges.
• All exhibitors, contractors or agents are responsible for the dismantling and removal, by stateddeadlines, of any
stands they have constructed.
• All exhibitors with special stand design or who will upgrade stands, please be aware that their appointed contractor
must cover the back wall of stands with white paint / coverings. The company logo is permitted to be placed but
shall not cause any damage to the partition wall or any other material.
• Contractors not abiding by the Rules and Regulation set in this Exhibitors’ Manual book will strictly not be
allowed entry into the exhibition hall.

Stand Cleaning
The official contractor will be responsible for cleaning the stand carpets - for pre-eqquiped stands only - and
gangways each day of the exhibition, free of charge. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning their own exhibits and
furniture.
Should exhibitors need help, please go to organizer’s office, our team will coordinate with the venue cleaning
department.

Badges
Minors, under the age of 18, whether accompanied or not, will not be admitted into the exhibition hall at any time,
from the build - up period through to the last day of dismantling.
Exhibitors can get their badges at the Organizer's Office.
Visitors can get their badges at registration counters.
All personnel entering the exhibition hall must wear identification badges which will be issued by the Organizer upon
submission of Form 6. Badges are not transferable.
• Exhibitor’s badges (Form 6) will be issued at the Organizer's Office on-site to exhibitors and their representatives
who will be manning the booth.
• Temporary badges will be issued to delivery personnel. These will be issued at the entry point upon surrendering
their identity card, valid work pass or passport for foreigners. Each delivery visit will be restricted to 1 hour
maximum.
Attire
During in the exhibition, all exhibitors and visitors must be in proper business attire. Those in shorts, slippers or
sport sandals will not be allowed entry. The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to any personnel not
appropriately dressed.
The organizer reserves the right to determine the acceptable sound level and extent of demonstrations of working
exhibits in the event of complaints from other exhibitors. The organizer reserves the right to terminate any working
exhibit deemed to be dangerous or unsuitable for any reason.

• Moving machinery must be fitted with safety devices and these safety devices may only be removed when the
machines are not in operation and not connected to the source of power.
• No motors, engines, contrivance or power-driven machinery may be used without adequate protection against fire

• No moving machinery may be operated within 0.5m of the gangway.
• Any fumes or exhaust deemed by the organizer to be excessive must be extracted or deducted away from other
exhibitors and visitors.
Promotional literature may not be distributed or fixed to walls outside their exhibition stand area. Promotional
product may not be distributed or sold outside their exhibition stand area. The organizer has full authority to suspend
such activity and exhibitors will be given a penalty.

Smoking
In accordance with the Smoking (Prohibition in Certain Places) Act, it is prohibited by law to smoke in the exhibition
halls, meeting rooms, air-con walkways, function areas and restaurants with food services.
Hazardous Material
Unless otherwise approved by the Organizer, the venue operator and the relevant government authorities in writing
at least one month before the exhibition:
1. No naked light, open flame or temporary gas may be used in the exhibition center; this includes continuous
welding work and neon lights.
2. No explosives, petrol, dangerous gas or highly inflammable substance will be allowed in the exhibition complex.
The organizer must be notified in advance of any display of motor vehicles with fuel tank, petrol-driven equipment.
3. Radioactive substances shall not be brought into the exhibition center.
Proper transportation and storage of all pressure tanks containing helium, compressed air, argon, carbon dioxide and
any other pressurized vessel is required and must be conform to all relevant safety standards and regulations.

The organizer is not liable to the exhibitor for any cancellation or part-time opening of the exhibition, either as
whole or in part, or for any non-performance of their obligations under this contract or for any amendments or
alterations to all or any of the rules and regulations of the exhibition in each case to the extent that such occurrence
is due to any circumstances not within its control.
The organizer will perform the maximum required for the overall security activities during the exhibition period.
However, organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damages of exhibitors or visitors personal belongings
during the exhibition period.
Limitation Of Liability
The organizer is not liable for the safety of exhibitors, agents, contractors or guests during the exhibition. The
organizer is not liable for the exhibits, articles or other property whatsoever that are brought into the exhibition area
by exhibitors, agents, contractors, guests or members of the public.
The organizer will not be held responsible for any restrictions or conditions which prevent the construction,
erection, completion, alteration or dismantling of stands or the entry, siting or removal of exhibits, or for failure of
any services or amenities provided by the hall landlords or order third parties.
Invoicing
Please treat all order forms as a Proforma Invoices. Where payment is required, such order forms will serve legally
as Proforma Invoices. Please send order forms before the stated deadline to the stated fax or email address.
Order on the Exhibition Day
Power supply, compressed air, water connections orders made on site will be charged 50% extra, supply will be
