ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS (cute cute diagrams + vectors + sillouhettes + noun project + PNI)

1. RECYCLING: biggest strength of paper tubes is the fact that not only can it be easily recycled; it
can also be made using recycled bi products.

2. RE-USE of paper tubes and cores reduces this footprint even further. By simply recovering
used tubes and cores, resizing them, and then returning them to the market, all without
compromising the tube’s or core’s integrity, or diminishing its’ quality

3. RECYCLED RAW MATERIALS : Recycled paper products are perfect for tubes and cores without the use of
fresh cut timber

4. Pulp (primary raw material) is produced from 100-percent post-consumer-

recycled paper materials

5. Responsible fiber sourcing :

• monitoring endangered forests • stakeholder engagement and agreements • certified paper
products

VIRGIN FIBERS: sourcing virgin fibers entails deforestation and hence has been squeezed to the
minimum with recycled recovery rate at an all time high.

6. Ecosystems: reuse of the paper tubes does not impact the natural ecosystems in any way.
7. Minimum landfill contribution : Paper cores (like most paper bi products) can be reused and
recycled atleast 5-7 times before ending up in landfills.
8. Alternative crops for paper
Paper cores/tubes can be made of any paper crop or fibre making it more environmentally and
socially acceptable.

9. PACKAGING INDUSTRY: Better alternative than plastic, tin or aluminuim in the packaging
industry because of its recyclable qualities.
10. BETTER ALTERNATIVE : than plastic, tin, aluminum or foil
11. COMPOSTABLE
12. BIODEGRADEABLE
13. EASY TO RECYLCE

14. PRODUCTION WASTE : The only production waste product is a small amount of these same
materials, which are then recycled.

15. PRODUCTION PROCESS : releases no pollutants into the air, water or waste stream

16. LOW CARBON (FOOTPRINT) : production and usage does not include major processing hence
reduces the footprint of the product itself.
17. LOW CARBON (EMISSION) : Paper tubes are one of the easiest products to recycle and do not
have any environmental impact during that process.

18. FIGHT AGAINST PLASTIC : versatile nature allows paper tubes to be used in various different
applications (similar to plastic) hence can be the perfect recyclable alternative to plastic.

19. BUILDING MATERIAL : due to its inherit structural integrity and flexibility, paper tubes have
proved to be an excellent building material, requiring minimal or no heavy machinery for
processing or assembly reducing the carbon emissions from the construction process manifolds.

20. BETTER BUILDING ALTERNATIVE : Paper tubes as building agents, stack favorably against
conventional materials such and bricks, RCC or even timber in terms of environmental impact.

21. PULP AND PAPER INDUSTRY : is considered among the world’s largest generators of air and
water pollutants, waste products, and the gases that cause climate change

22. COMPLEX INTIAL PROCESS : The papermaking process is complex, resource intensive and toxic.
creating major health issues and environmental degradation

23. CERTIFIED FORESTS : Globally, only 10% of the forests are certified for fiber harvest, putting
unbalanced pressure on a small area.
