Junior Paper Reflection

Junior year was quite the year. There was lots of work, preparing for college applications,

and participating in clubs and activities. I thought that during the moment it was very stressful

and I wasn’t sure how I would be successful, but looking back it all went very well. I am very

proud of my final grades for the year and how I was able to prepare for college applications in

the fall. Most of all I am proud of the work and research I put into my junior paper. My goals

were to be successful in my classes all, but most importantly to do well on the big paper in order

to prepare me for the senior project next year. For English four I will procrastinate less and try

even harder to reach success.

While writing the junior paper there were not too many problems I ran into. When

choosing my topic I chose something I was very passionate about and already knowledgeable on.

I really enjoyed being able to formally write about this topic that is so close to my heart. I loves

getting to do all of the research and learn so much more. I learned much more than I expected

that I would. Due to my interest in this topic, I did not procrastinate too much as I was constantly

excited to learn more about OT and SPD. Because of this I was able to manage my time very

well, which is why I think I was able to get the perfect grade that I did. That made all of the

stress of perfecting my writing worth it. My interest in this topic definitely affected how I

worked. If I was not interested then I would not have been motivated and I would not have been

able to do well on it.

During the writing process I wish I would have explored other problems within SPD and

OT, and be able to write about all of those together rather then just one. Other then that I really
love the research and work that I did. Though it is always better to have more time to work in

class, I think that we had enough time and some you must just do on your own. I think that the

checklist worked very well to keep us on track so we were not waiting for the last minute to get

started. The work days we got and the checklist together were very beneficial. Ultimately I really

loved my topic and I would not change it.
