Assignment Title: Q3 End of unit: Macbeth theme in society

Student Writing Goal: My writing goal is to score a 100% on all assessments and to the end of the year and stay focus.
I want to stay on topic my entire paper and use sufficient textual evidence with minimal grammar mistakes.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

Basically, the purpose of this assignment was to relate Macbeth with one issue in society. I decided to write
about appearance vs. reality which still being a problem nowadays in society. I think this theme is so similar
with Macbeth, since in the story all the characters have different personalities as in real life, that could be
good or bad depending of the person and the situation. It involve things as ambition and how people appears
to be someone that is not just to get a social status and fake achievement.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I feel that my essay have enough information. Although I have never write about some similar essay before, I
tried to relate everyday problems with Macbeth. The essay should have an entertaining and pathos content
that could convince people about what I was writing, so I should have included anything that might have
helped me, like interviews asking people about their opinions.. As far as grammar, I could have definitely
proof-read my work a lot more.

What aspect of this piece did you do well?

I really like my objective, which is “Appearance vs. reality.” I believe my objective was very clear and
honest. People should start showing who they really are. It shows a series of examples of how people who
pretend to be those who are not to get something can end badly

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I revised this assignment because my resume needed to be cleaned up and organized. I will not be using this
for my extended essay because it is a resume.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
After looking over my work now and reflecting on this piece, maybe yes. This was an easy assessment and I
was focused. I did my work in the best way possible. I could have taken advantage of this assignment for
future essays in college. In the future, I will take all writing assignments serious as I know each piece is
practice to continue my progress as a writer. I will make sure that I stay focused on the prompts on all of my
essays and use textual
To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
Honestly, my goal was to score an 95% on all assessments and I did that goal with this resume – I scored an
85%. My resume used first person in the responsibilities and there were a few sentences. I did not follow my
teacher’s expectations when she mentioned just to bullet-point any responsibilities and not use first person in
my work. After re-reading my essay, I went off tangent and talked about myself way too much. I need to read
the prompts over and over again until I stay focused and clear on the subject and maybe add more arguments
to my essay and specific information.
