Have you ever suffered cybercrime? Cybercrime is a fraudulent action that

includes hacking online scams etc. Furthermore of financial devastations on
billions of dollars loss every year repairing systems hit by such attacks. It also
makes the victim feel that their privacy has been violated.

For that we have the FBI which is the leading federal agency for cyber-attacks
investigations. Criminals nowadays re more dangerous because they have become
more sophisticated and have created new ways to steal your information and
money. But, who is behind such attacks? It goes from computer geeks looking for
bragging rights.. To real business trying to hack competitor websites
what criminals are looking for? The ask companies to pay them a huge amount
that this virtual currency provides. They tell us that in exchange all the
information will be returned. But, there are cases in which companies in spite of
paying the money don’t get back their information. so the FBI give us
recommendations which are being aware of ransomware. If you work for a
company that have all the information linked or even on the computer of your
house, because this virus enters easily by a link send on an spam email so you
have you be careful and install a good antivirus for the hardware and the system

Today is a huge problem and for combating it the FBI has built a whole new set of
technological investigation and partnerships because a dangerous thing that is
happening is that buildings like hospitals, school districts etc.… have been
attacked by ransomware. What is? As said before a ransomware is when
criminals inability the access to important information of an specific company.
This can be catastrophic if you think about it because of the loss of sensitive or
proprietary information

So for conclusion even if your computer us used in homer is one of the computers
linked to information of a company you have to be aware and know what the
dangers of it. Know that the FBI is doing and also report these types of attacks to
the ACORN
