Romeo and Juliet is a meritorious book. Their love story is beautiful but tragic. They were a

troubled young couple. Romeo and Juliet went through a journey to be together and ended up

dying. These are my personal opinions on what I thought about this book.

My first pinion is that I think they were a little too dramatic, Romeo and Juliet. I understand

it was a different time but I don’t think they needed to react the way they needed to react the way

they did with all then drama. Romeo killed Tybalt without even caring he was Juliet’s cousin and

soon they’d be family too. Juliet didn’t even care and that’s her family, that’s really messed up if

you ask me. They were so young, and like everyone says you’re too young to be in love” or

“what do know about love you’re just kid”.

The book is a bit over rated. Is young love really worth dying for? If so, that’s not a good

lesson they should be teaching us. They should be teaching us to keep going and strive for

greatness. They’re many more fishes in the sea. At least just stay alive with the memories you

and your lover made. For example, in the movie Titanic she stayed alive but she never stopped

loving him. Why Juliet do that?

Also I don’t believe in love at first sight. How can you love someone when you have no idea

what they’re like? The author should’ve made them bond first then fall in love. So I didn’t like

the way they fell in love was pretty ridiculous. They knew nothing about each other not even

their name and they kissed. They both should’ve known that falling in love with an enemy can
only end badly, especially in the situation they were in. The way they planned things out were

terrible. Romeo and Juliet should’ve at least tried to talk things out with their families. What if

their parent would’ve handled it better than they expected.

At the end of the day it wasn’t a horrible novel. Also, it wasn’t the worst. It was just a book of

love. I’m probably over thinking it because we’re in a different time. It does have cute moments

but it is not my favorite. If I can rate it I’d give it 3 and a half stars. But, that is just my opinion

on the novel Romeo and Juliet.
