2.a. Look at paragraph 1 of the article and the two portraits c and d and answer questions.
1. What two things do the portraits have in common?
- The artist is the person that pose.
- Their assistants paint on them.
2. What do you think the rest of the article is about?
The article is extremely interesting because the person is part of the portrait and they disappears into the
background like a human chameleon. The portraits are completely fascinating.
2.b. Read the rest of the article. Match the artists to their portraits. What messages are the two artists trying to
express.
Artists try to express that their identity disappear in background of the portrait but They are part of their
environment.

I prefer the artist Liu because he is hiding in the portrait a huge collection of images.

The graffiti over animals are fairly shocking.
