Project´s Report

Title.

Analysis and development of information systems - SHEET 1565040 GAES 012

Introdution.

The training program Analysis and Development of Information Systems, is a structured

program, as it begins with the specification of requirements of the project and ends with the

construction of it. Taking into account the study methodology, we have been able to acquire very

important and fundamental knowledge in the area of programming, through the phases of

Definition of requirements, Analysis, Design, Development and Construction which is what we

are currently developing.

General findings.

In conclusion, once we graduate as Information Systems Analysis and Development

Technologists, we will be able to apply our knowledge to improve production processes in all

sectors, be it industry, commerce, services, etc.

Completing all the phases of the training program will allow us to continue with the

professional cycle in Systems Engineering.

Proposal or purpose of the Project.

To design and develop an Information System capable of processing, assigning and

scheduling the medical appointment service to the patients who use a Health Service Provider.
iv

Improve patient satisfaction through continuous improvement of the quality of our processes,

appropriate technology, humanized care, qualified personnel and highly committed to the

institution, using the resources under the constitutional and institutional principles.

Problems found.

The Information System is limited to providing service in the outpatient area.

Conclusions.

The proposed system will reduce the lines that are generated daily at the time of requesting

medical appointments in the outpatient area, decreasing the time of care.

It will also allow a statistical control of the appointments requested, assigned, cancelled,

among others.

Suggestions.

The information system will be developed with an open architecture so that the other

modules of the Institution can then be integrated.

The information system must meet the specified storage requirements and response times.

This should not be a major problem due to the reduced size of the information system, but the

provider will monitor it throughout the development.
