mr.mortecai@gmail.com My name is Jordan Higham. I am an 18 year old high school student
currently attending Copper Hills High with the intent of graduating with
the hopes of pursuing careers that are directly related to art. I have
dabbled in art classes throughout high school that taught some
animation, drawing, and creating a story through picture. While these
classes taught me the general basics, I desire to learn more about
Animation and Drawing in depth.

I have been watching Pixar movies since I was a very small child, the
first being Toy Story all the way up to The Incredibles 2, an incredible
series that I watched multiple times. I have read your mission
statement to “combine proprietary technology and world-class creative
talent to develop computer-animated feature films with memorable
characters and heartwarming stories that appeal to audiences of all
ages”, which I find highly agreeable, making films that anyone in the
public can enjoy. I enjoyed your movies as a kid and continue to enjoy
them even now. I know that getting into the animation/art part of the
company is extremely competitive.

I know it would be highly beneficial for both parties to allow me to job

shadow one of your art directors for a minimum of 6 hours, to get a
basic understanding of how things work at the studio. I myself am an
artist, specifically I love drawing! I am proficient at making up and
creating characters with a story, feelings, and are connective to an
audience. I am a determined worker when it comes to the realm of
movies and drawing.
