3. March 22nd was a productive Friday spent

(BUG) program:
• Kiwanians Anthony Hendrix Dina Hendrix,

Janice Williams mentored about 30 children in
total at Center Elementary from 8:00am until
10:00am during their Report Card Conference.
• Kiwanians Jack Yarbrough and Sonny Yar-
brough attended the Honors ceremony at Me-
morial Drive Elementary at 8:15am and hand-
ed out certificates to the children.
• 8 Kiwanians: Lisa Neloms, Dorothy Brinson,
JoAnn White, Anthony Hendrix, Dina Hen-
drix, Judy Yarborough, Martha Wildes, Janice
Williams attended a special BUG ceremony to
encourage students at Ruskin Elementary and
present Kiwanis-branded Bring Up Grades
certificates, stickers, pencils to them.
4. 20 bags were donated in April to CASA for
children going into the foster care system.

care. We are grateful to the non-Kiwanians in
our Waycross community who donated 10 back-
packs to add to our luggage collection.
