ALMA
Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array

The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) is an Millimeter

Radio Interferometer.

The array has been constructed on the 5,000 m (16,000

ft) elevation in Chajnantor plateau -
near the Llano de Chajnantor Observatory and the
Atacama Pathfinder Experiment.
ALMA
● The array has much higher sensitivity and higher resolution than earlier
submillimeter telescopes
● The high sensitivity is mainly achieved through the large numbers of antenna
dishes that will make up the array.
X-ray Binary
● An X-ray binary is a class of a binary stars which emit in xrays
wavelengths.
Note that the classification by mass
(high, intermediate, low) refers to the optically
visible donor, not to the compact X-ray emitting
accretor.
Low-Mass X-Ray Binaries

● A low-mass X-ray binary (LMXB) is a binary star system

where one of the components is either a black hole or
neutron star.
High-mass X-ray binary
A High-Mass X-ray Binary (HMXB) is a binary star system that
is strong in X rays, and in which the normal stellar component
is a massive star: usually an O or B star, or a blue supergiant.

Introduction of SS 433

9:SS433 is one of the most exotic star system observed in Aquila.

Summary Of Result
● We study the millimeter behaviours of few selected Black-
Hole candidate like : SS 433 , Cygnus X-1.

● We found the temporal varibility both sources from

spectral study

● We found no molecular line in surrounding regions in

sources.
Future Work

● We try to worked with more sources in X-

Ray binary

● We co-related other frequency observation
