Types of mammals
Monotremes: are primitive egg-laying mammals.
Examples: duck-billed platypus and two spiny anteaters.

Marsupials: give birth to babies that are not completely developed.


Examples: Kangaroo, opossum, Tasmanian devil, and koala.

Placental mammals: Develops inside its mother's body until its body systems can
function on their own.
Examples: People, cats, dogs, and horses.
