1. Define Cheer Dance;


2. Demonstrate the essentials basic steps of Cheer Dance;
3. Create a variation of cheer dance accompanied by music

Before we proceed to our discussion let
us have first a short activity. Our activity
entitled “Pa-Shoutout”.

I will group you into 3 namely:


Group 1: Yellow group
Group 2: Blue Group
Group 3: Red Group
In 3 minutes you are going to make
your group yell with movements. And it has
something to do in our lesson for today
(students will proceed to their group)

Sir! As what I observed they are doing a lot of stunts and
proper attitude of a good dancer.

Sir! Based on my observation dancers are shouting and
cheering their team in a form of dance.
Very good! Now can you define what cheer
dance is?
Sir! Cheer dance is to shout out words or phrases that may
help to motivate and boost the morale of a playing team.
Very good! Any other answer?
Sir! Cheer dance is a physical activity where one expresses
emotions or gestures while performing bodily movements.
Excellent!
All your answers are correct, So! We can say
that,

Cheer Dance: is a routine composed of yells


and cheers. Gymnastic skills (pyramids and
tosses, stunts, tumbling skills, arm and hand
positions and jumps) and Dance ( fusion of
different dance genres)

pattern in cheer dance. All you need to do is to
analyse each step pattern and try to demonstrate
it in front.

you will demonstrate it.

So what is Pick a Hole? It is very simple
