H. Step of Learning Proces
1. Introduction (± 10 minutes)
Phase 1: Orientation of students to the problem
a) Learning begins with pray.
b) Apperception: students are reminded again of the material finding
the linear equation concept.
c) Motivation:
1) Students are asked to observe PPT related linear equation in
one variable. (Scientific approach: the phase observe).

2) Teachers provide opportunities for students to ask questions

to the PPT slides. (Scientific approach: phase asking).
d) Submission objectives: Teachers express purpose of learning is to
solve the problems associated with linear equation in one variable.

2. Main Activity (± 65 minutes)

Phase 2 : Presenting and Demonstrated Knowledge or Skills
a) The teacher are explaining about linear equation in one variable

i. First teacher give a picture related to linear equation. Then

teacher give a chance to student to think what the possible
answer of the picture.

ii. Second, teacher give a chance to student to make that picture

to be a linear equation.

iii. Third, student work by her/his self to determine the variable x

in that linear equation.
iv. Teacher give another example in about linear equation in one
variable.

Phase 3 : Give a concrete example of the variety and repetition

v. Student come forward to help the teacher to make a linear
equation form from the picture. And solve that problem.

b) Students are divided into groups by teachers in heterogeneous ( 4-5

people ) .
c) Teachers provide instruction that lead students to join their
respective the groups .
d) Students are discuss together.
Phase 4 : Check the students understanding
a) The teacher give the chance to every group to answer a question and
explain in forward of class.
b) The teacher gives rewards to groups that have been answered .
c) The teacher give a chance for student to give question to the friend
that have answered.

Phase 5 : Giving Opportunities and Application of Advanced Training

a) The teacher asks some students to make inferences from the results of the
discussion ( scientific approach : phase makes networking )
b) The teacher announced score groups and individual .
c) Provide awards to the best teams and individuals .

3. Closing (± 10 minutes)
Evaluation
a) Students are required to evaluate learning today.
b) The teacher evaluates what is lacking in today's learning.
c) Student summarize the learning today

d) The teacher asks the students to learn the chapter to be studied

further.

Worksheet

Subjects : Mathematics
Class : VII
Material : linear equation in one variable

Learning Objectives:
1. Determine a solution of linear equation in one variable

1. Determine the solution of linear equation in one variable.

a. 24m = 12
b. 3z + 11 = - 28
c. 25 – 4y = 6y + 15
d. – 4x – 15 = 1 – 8x
e. 6a + 2 = 4
2. If x is real number, determine the solution of linear equation in one variabel
a. 6x + 5 = 26 – x
b. 2 – 4x = 3
c. x – 12 = 2x + 36
d. -5x – 4x + 10 = 1
e. 2 + 4x = 5
Guidelines for Assessment Instruments Knowledge

No Solution Score
1 a. 24m = 12 2
24 / 24 m = 12 / 24
m=½
b. 3z + 11 = - 28 2
3z + 11 – 11 = -28 – 11
3z = - 39
(3/3) z = 39/3
z = 13
c. 25 – 4y = 6y + 15 2
25 – 25 – 4y = 6y + 15 – 25
-4y = 6y – 10
-4y – 6y = 6y – 6y – 10
-10y = -10
(-10/-10)y = -10/-10
y=1
d. – 4x – 15 = 1 – 8x 2
-4x -15 + 15 = 1 + 15 – 8x
-4x + 8x = 16 - 8x +8x
4x = 16
x=4
e. 6a + 2 = 4 2
6a + 2 – 2 = 4 – 2
6a = 2
(6/6)a = 2/6
a = 1/3
2 a. 6x + 5 = 26 – x 2
6x + 5 – 5 = 26 – 5 – x
6x = 21
(6/6)x = 21 / 6
x=7/3
b. 2 – 4x = 3 2
2 – 2 – 4x = 3 – 2
-4x = 1
(-4/-4) x = 1 / -4
x=-¼
c. x – 12 = 2x + 36 2
x – 12 + 12 = 2x + 36 + 12
x = 2x + 48
x – 2x = 2x – 2x +48
-x = 48
x= -48
d. -5x – 4x + 10 = 1 2
-9x +10 = 1
-9x + 10-10=1-10
-9x = -9
(-9/-9) x = -9/-9
x=1

e. 2 + 4x = 5 2
2-2 +4x = 5-2
4x = 3
(4/4)x = ¾
x=¾
Total maximal score 10

Final Value:

(Acquisition scores/ Total maximal score ) x 100
