There are two main ways to structure a compare and contrast essay, namely using a block or
a point-by-point structure. For the block structure, all of the information about one of the
objects being compared/contrasted is given first, and all of the information about the other
object is listed afterwards. This type of structure is similar to the block structure used for
cause and effect and problem solution essays. For the point-by-pointstructure, each similarity
(or difference) for one object is followed immediately by the similarity (or difference) for the

daily and semester tests. For example:
1. Each student will carry out an evaluation,from the posts that have been sent by the teacher
the learning objectives that will be tested,
2. the teacher give task to the students to respond to each objective,
3. each student gives a comment or response from a friend's comment,
4. the teacher gives clue and for each objective,
5. the same thing is done for another topic.
The use of Whatsapp is usefull to increase the quantity and frequency of students read
teaching material that has been learned and will be tested. because students are often open
their smartphones every day. Thus, it is also certain to open the notification from Whatsapp
and read the deiscussion group. Opening Whatsapp is definitely easier than opening a book.
The similarities in learning using Whatsapp and Instagram. Students who use
Whatsapp and Instagram directly provide and receive information. They share tips and how
to, like projects and useful information for their study material. Their ability to access,
analyze, store and share information has increased over time. Without being notice they have
developed their abilities in learning. Whatsapp and Instagram are also the options for a
discussion between teachers and students and sharing knowledge with other users, thus
opening up insights about the critical thinking. Of course there are also differences, The reach
of learning with Instagram is very huge we can get information from all over the world that is
shared but on whatsapp we can only learn from an internal or private sharing through phone
contact that we have and only certain scope that we can reach in terms of learning using
whatsapp is limited. Instagram is more wide range scope of sharing.
Are all resources that can be used for the benefit of the learning process both
directly and indirectly. The development of the technological era of learning activities or
learning resources can be carried out through social media that allows users to interact with
other people and interact with, various information and The effectiveness of utilizing the
progress of WhatsApp and Instagram can be a learning media, with good management can
