13:30 – 16:30  Applications of Screencast-o-matic tool in making a computer


screen recording for presentation or software demonstration

August 3, 2018 08:30 – 11:30  Use of Haikudeck tool in creating animated presentation
and/or video for demonstration purposes

11:30 – 13:30  Lunch break

13:30 – 16:30  Use of Powtoon tool in creating an interactive presentation

 Wrap-up applications of ICT tools in creating effective


presentation;
 Mini-project applying introduced tools during the workshop.
* There will be 15-minute break in between each session
Facilitator: Ms. Maria Victoria G. Pineda
ICT Expert

Maria Victoria G. Pineda is currently an ICT Specialist on Instruction at


SEAMEO-RETRAC, Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.

She is also an eLearning Consultant, an active workshop facilitator and current


Board Member of the Philippine eLearning Society and an IT Curriculum
Program evaluator on Outcomes-Based Education Processes under the PCS
Information and Computing Accreditation Board (PICAB) of the Philippines.

Maria was a former university lecturer from the Information Technology


Department of the College of Computer Studies of De La Salle University,
Manila, Philippines. During her stay in the university she had been dynamic in
using technology in delivering her classes in various ways. During this time she
accomplished projects with the Center for Disaster Risk Policy, Florida State
University on community based disaster risk reduction (2009-2010); with Dr. Maria Spante and
Lennarth Bernhardsson of University West, Sweden on Social Media for Intercultural Collaboration and
Social Media for ICT Teacher Capacity Building (2010-2011); and with Dr. Andrew Lian of Suranaree
University of Technology, Thailand on rhizomatic systems and personal learning environments (2013).

She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Science in Saint Paul College
Manila; M.A. in Educational Management and second, M.A. in Communication Studies major in Applied
Media Studies both at the De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. Her research interests and
publications are on 21st century learning, disaster management systems and community engagement.
