Study Plan for Masters of Business Administration

My name is Ehtesam Uddin Ahmed. Unquestionably I am very much grateful for giving me
the opportunity to express my feelings about my desired program and future prospects
regarding higher study in China. Having the Course “MBA in China International Institutes ”
for higher study and research will enhance my future stability and business leadership skills.

Since my childhood, I passed my leisure times by reading newspapers and business

magazines, which contained interesting articles about International Multi-Cultural Business
and Economy. But, I was much more interested in business and economy related magazines.
By reading these articles, I came to know that Business Study is really a wonderful demand
of present world business environment. Being inspired to this field after Higher Secondary
School, I admitted myself at American International University Bangladesh ( AIUB ) where
I passed my Bachelor degree in Business Administration ( BBA ) with 3.06 out of 4.00
(Result was published on 2014) under the faculty of Business Administration and
Department of Marketing, which is my specialization area.

From the first stage of my graduation, while studying, I gained knowledge and practical
experience about Principles of Marketing, Business Statistics, Business Communication,
Human Resource and Operations Management, Financial Management, Economic
Geography, Brand and Product Management, Global Trade and etc. Besides, I visited several
times various business firm, bank, industries and factories with my teachers and classmates
to get practical knowledge about business plan and environment. Moreover, I tried to expand
horizon of my knowledge by studying some of the most important major courses. At the
closing phase of fourth year, I completed three months internship at “Al Arafa Islami Bank
Ltd”. Then, I have also made a thesis paper on Global Trade which was very concise, clear
and acceptable where I was group leader among five classmates.

It is certainly true that Study in MBA is my best priority and choice to understand the highly
complex Chinese business environment throughout the world. It is provided with a quality
business management education to achieve cross-cultural management skill and leadership.
The 21st Century has been dubbed the Asian Century, and never before has it been so
important to understand the thriving Chinese economy and business practices. My mission is
to broaden the international perspectives on trade and go deeper into the histories and
cultures of many countries. My plan is to explore economic and commercial decision
making, current and future trade issues and developments, gaining insight into world trade,
international finance and trade promotion strategies from national and regional to global
level. Basically, I socially realize the reality of life and people with positive mind and
attitude are proven to be helpful with honest efforts and true dedication. Besides I always feel
very joyous and fortunate to meet and greet people belonging to different backgrounds and
cultures.
“Why study especially in China?” Nowadays, a big question arises from different
angles. As we know that education about Business Studies in my country is not much more
improved for research and higher study. It goes without saying that China Education System
has worldwide reputation and assures internationally standard education. Also it is a safe
country with multicultural and a welcoming environment. According to the international
news and positive views of whole world people, analyzing and observing the multi-culture
and spreading economy of the people of China, I really got myself nostalgic and impressed.
Gradually the dedication and strong efforts to the work and commitment of Chinese People
with many countries have been proven and recognized. That’s why they are highly
acceptable to any country for their purposes. From the world survey and reports among
different countries, the dedicated Chinese people have set and built “China” as an example
and model of successful nation from all areas of development.

I have come to know that Chinese are more dedicated to their work and determination and
reputed for professionalism. Thus, they have been a successful mentor for developing and
under-developed countries. Moreover, for active cooperation in diverse fields, The People’s
Republic of China and Bangladesh both got engaged in bilateral ties in the mid 1970’s which
was finalized with the signing of a bilateral agreement in 1976. Strategically, Bangladesh and
China have mutually benefitted from bilateral relations. Bangladesh receives massive
military aid, military training, technology and equipment support from China. The two
countries signed the defense cooperation agreement in 2002 and 2004 to strengthen their
strategic ties. The year 2005 was declared and celebrated as ‘China-Bangladesh Friend
Year’.

In the mid 1980’s, both the nations extended cooperation to the domain of commerce,
culture, and education. China is the largest trade partner of Bangladesh. China has also taken
the initiative to develop natural gas resources and nuclear power plants in Bangladesh. Both
countries already shared Economic Zone for spreading business. Due to cheap labor cost in
Bangladesh and ever increasing wages in China, textile has plans of outsourcing its RMG
jobs to the country. Similarly, raw materials and advanced machinery for the RMG sector has
been imported by Bangladesh. Last year, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Bangladesh,
after three decades, a Chinese President has visited Bangladesh, who signified growing
importance of the country in South Asian’s economics and geo- politics. A number of high
profile investments and other business deals worth billions have been signed during Mr. Xi’s
trip. Dhaka maintains very strong military ties with Beijing. Moreover, cultural norms and
values, language, lifestyle, weather, environment, diversity in foods, bilateral relationship
between Bangladesh and China, mentality and reputed hospitality of Chinese are really
acceptable reasons to make China as my second homeland. All these causes have strongly
forced me to pursue further education in China. All my sweet dreams will be true, if I get an
opportunity to study in China. I look forward to receiving your reply.
