Rigs
R1. Post Apocalyptic Shuttle Bus
The PA SB, or PA SoB, is a chopped Ford F-550 body slapped onto a tuned GMC Flatop
chassis; built for handling the rough Rte. 9 route. The PASB seats 8 uncomfortably, the driver,
the gunner and 6 passengers with a row of seats removed for cargo. Extra cargo is usually
crammed in the aisle or strapped on top.
A ram plate is mounted up front and an amalgam of riveted sheet metal, recast metal plates,
and chainlink fence cover the body. A hole through the front passenger seat roof gives
access to a shielded pivot mounting two battered M-16s to serve as a crude machine gun, 5.56
is just so much easier to come by. A PA SB is all about “comfort” or what passes for it. A
sturdy roll cage protects passengers and driver, whilst a cage protects the cargo and driver
from unruly passengers.

R2. Death Plow
Modified Hauler Truck
These rigs are designed for one thing only, to get shit out of the way, day or night. Fitted with
massive plow plates, thick armor, winches, spotlights, and a PA system to inspire the convoy,
you don’t want to be in the way of these bad boys.
Customizations: Half-Ton Winch & Cable; Off Road Capable; Loudspeaker; Searchlight;
Plow
Armor: Heavy Armor (Protection 14); Solid Tires
Weapons: Power Ballista (Understanding/Shoot, 24L, Long)
Passengers: Driver + 4 (2 are crew for the ballista)
Death plows often lead the way to make sure it is clear. They have no problem with the
typical car barricades raiders might throw up. Be it a haul or seek and destroy, these rigs are
always welcome.
design details: Base Cost (14); Increased Speed x1 (1); Half-Ton Winch & Cable (1); Off Road
Capable (1); Loudspeaker (1); Searchlight (1); Plow (1); Solid Tires (2); Heavy Armor (3);

Outriders
O1. Light Escort Bike (aka Malltown Special)
Kawasaki KLX 450R, customized
These light bikes are all about speed, maneuverability and making some raider’s day a very
bad one. They come in a Left version (the throttles on the left, so you escort to the right and
don’t shoot across your body) and Right version (the opposite of all the above). This design
finds use in Malltown, Wellrose and even the Colds tend to use it. These hauls are between
20 and 40 miles, so you need to protect the rig just long enough.
Given the high value of ammo and the short hauls they are meant to protect, the LEB is meant
to slow and harass raiders, not take them out. The LEB is also meant to be fast, getting
between raider bikes to keep raiders from jumping on the rigs. LEB riders wear heavy armor
(protection 8), as they know the bike ‘aint goin’ to protect ‘em. Standard LEB tactics are to get
a fair bit in front of raiders to lay smoke, then it’s one on one crossbow action.
Here are the design details: Base Cost Dual Sport (7); Increased Speed x2 (2); X-Loader (1);
Smoke (1); [Rider Armor (1)]**
**This is an option to try to make this a potential bike for a starting PC, the nimbleness is
reduced to leave a point for the PC to spend on Full Heavy Armor (Protection 10L, 4B)
Sometimes raiders just won’t take smoke for an answer. Then they need a reminder that they
can burn too.
LMFs add a bit of muscle to the escort role. The flamethrowers are often made to look like the
smokers found on LEBs just to mess with them raiders. Standard LMF tactics are to get a fair
bit in front of a raider and burn baby burn.
Here are the design details: Base Cost (7); Increased Speed x2 (2); X-Loader (1);
Flamethrower (2); [Reduced Nimbleness (-1) + Rider Armor (1)]**
**This is an option to try to make this a potential bike for a starting PC, the nimbleness is
reduced to leave a point for the PC to spend on Heavy Armor (Protection 8)

O3. Battle Bike
custom “super-bike”
These beasts are often upgraded with smoke, oil and tire busters.
design details: Base Cost (8); Off-Road Capable (1); LMGx2 (2); Link (1); L Grenade Launcher
x2 (2); Grappling Gun x2 (2); Increased Muscle (1); Increased Nimble (1); Increased
Toughness (1); Reduced Passengers (-1).
These light bikes have been modified with a side car for a gunner and weapon mount. They
come in two versions based on the weapon mounted the X (mounting a pneumatic spear gun
with a compressor run off the engine) and the MG (mounting a LMG like weapon). This
design finds use across the waste.
The MEB is meant to provide fire support to important hauls. There are two variants based on
the weapon mounted.
Design details: Base Cost (7); Sidecar (1, Nimbleness –1); Pivot Mount (1); Pivot Shield (1);
Weapon (1, Spear Gun or LMG); Increased Speed (1).

O5. Medium Cruiser (aka Minuteman Special)
Chopped Harley, customized
These heavy bikes have been chopped and modified to travel off-road as well as on, and to
add a certain esthetic favored by many a long haul outrider. This design is a favorite of the
Minutemen.
These bikes are the base “horse” of the Minutemen; they have names and are invariably
upgraded as the rider progresses in rank.
Design details: Base Cost (5); Increased Muscle (1); Off Road (1); X-Loader (1); Solid Tires (2)

C6. Remnant Scout/Courier (Wellrose Duster)
dune car, customized
Cobbled together form manufactured and pre-ruin parts, no two of these buggies are exactly
alike. The Duster (as in leave you in my dust) is a general purpose scout, courier, and
scavenger pick up buggy. One of the fastest cars in the wasteland. These cars are not often
armored but their drivers are.

Marauder Vehicles
Marauders always seem to have access to fuel, of some kind, so they like to make use of fire
and oil weapons. This means they also have a few Molotov cocktails (Fire: 6L/3L) on them as
well.
M1. Swarmer
Motorcross, customized
These light bikes are at the bottom of the raider food-chain. The two most common versions
are the Smoker and the Spiker. The job of these bikes is to slow the prey down, or else.
Standard Swarmer tactics are for two to get in front of the prey and lay smoke, spikes and oil,
all at once and hopefully the rig flips.
The design details: Base Cost (7); Increased Speed x2 (2); Reduced Nimbleness (-1)
Smoker: Oil Dispenser (1) & Smoke Dispenser (1); Spiker: Tire Burster (2)
These heavy bikes are manned by the toughest of the raiders with a near suicidal “Jumper” in
the side-car. The job of these bikes is to mess-up prey that is too stupid to give up. There
are left (sidecar on the left) and right (sidecar on the right) versions of this bike. Raiders like
to use them in pairs.
Standard Burner tactics are to have one pull up an each side of a rig and let loose as soon as
the Swarmers do their thing. Hopefully this causes the victim to crash or slow down.
The design details: Base Cost (5); Increased Speed x1 (1); Off-Road (1); Sidecar (1);
Flamethrower (2).
11
M3. Junk Buggy
stripped down compact, customized
These are the “rigs” that the light raider bands use to carry spares, fuel, and loot. The
weakest of the pack drive the Junk Buggies.
The Junk buggy follows behind the main pack ready to load up the spoils or provide more
raiders. Valuable cargo and captives are kept in the cage on the back.
The design details: Base Cost (8); Increased Speed x2 (2); Passenger/Cargo Cage (1); Extra
Cargo Space (1); Reduced Toughness (-1); Reduced Nimbleness (-1).
These are the heavy hitters of a raider force meant to get in front of a victim and open fire.

Armor: Light [8]
Weapons: LMGx2 Fixed on Roof; Pivot Mounted Rear HMG
Passengers: Driver + 2 + Gunner
The design details: Base Cost (11); Ram (1); Light Armor (1); LMG x2 (2); HMG (4); Pivot
Mount (1); Reduced Muscle (-1).
12
M5. Jumper
Modified pickup truck
These are the “rigs” that bring the pole cats. Often reserved for the Long Ways (Mass Pike)
these rigs allow the most in vehicle capture.
The Jumper follows directly behind the Swarmers and Burnjobs. Once the target is slowed by
the Swarmers, a Burnjob comes up and flames them, then the Jumpers come in to finish them
off and take the vehicle. Jumpers also serve to lug stuff given their extra space.
The design details: Base Pickup Cost (12); Light Armor (1); Increased Speed x1 (1); Off-Road
Capable (1); Polecat (2); Heavy Crossbow with built in X-Loader (1); Small Arms Ring Mount
(3);
13
Custom Customizations:
Big Tanks (Cost 1)
An extra fuel tank twice the size of the normal tank, such as a 55 gallon drum on a car,
5 gallon jerry can on a bike, etc.
Nitrous (Cost 1)
An extra kick to do the trick. One can take this as a temporary +2 speed or an
automatic +5 on the distance track.
14
X-Loader (Cost 1)
A small motor, powered by the engine or battery, is used to load a powerful
crossbow. Typically the crossbows are small (pistol size) but the bow is made of
metal that can only be drawn by powered means. X-Loaders are customized to fit the
crossbow. The driver/rider need only stick an empty cross bow into a slot, flip a
switch and it is automatically drawn and loaded. X-Loaders on bikes typically hold
12 bolts, on cars 36.

ICE APOCALYPSE
An ice age grips the world. Civilization has retreated to great domes far from the
brutal seas. Bands of brave men and women run the off-shore rigs that produce the fuel vital
to survival and fish the icy oceans for food. Tenuous routes connect the life giving coast to
what remains of civilization.
Upon the icy tundra live those who refused to enter, or were refused entry into, the
domes. These leftovers of humanity have fashioned there own life from the wilderness. Some
have turned to hunting and living as close to the land as they can; others have rejected all
notions of kinship and live in brutal bands taking whatever they can from others; yet others
live within the tunnels under the cities.
Storm Haulers are used by The Combine to move food and fuel all year round by cargo sled.
They are well armed with a turret mounted in front right and another in the left back of the cab.
The Storm Haulers are protected by a custom layer of well-fitting composite armor.
Customizations: Snow Capable; Searchlights x2; Half-ton Winch & Cable (rear)
Armor: Heavy (Protection 14);
Weapons: Ram; Front Turret with Linked LMGx2; Rear Turret LMGx1
Passengers: Driver + 4
design details: base Cost (12); Searchlight x2 (2); Heavy Vehicle Armor (3); Turret x2 (4);
LMGx3 (3); Link (1); ½-Ton Winch (1)
IC-2. Pathfinder
Tucker Sno-Cat 1643RE
Pathfinders are used in pairs to make roads for the Ice Rigs and as escorts. These are the
“Battle Cars” of the Icy Apocalypse. The turret mounted HMG can rip apart most threats, and
for lesser situations a LMG mounted on the rear platform does the work.
Customizations: Snow Capable; Searchlights x2; Plow; Half-ton Winch & Cable (rear)
Armor: Medium (Protection 11);
Weapons: Roof Turret with HMG; Rear Platform Pivot with LMG;
Passengers: Driver + 7
design details: base Cost (10); Searchlights x2 (2); Plow (1); Medium Vehicle Armor (2);
Turret (2); HMG (4); Pivot (1); LMG (1); ½-Ton Winch (1); Increased Speed (1); Increased
Nimbleness (1).
16
IC-3. Ice Rig
heavily winterized big rig
Ice Rigs are the big haulers, used in the fall and late winter when the blizzards are past and
the rivers still frozen. The bridges are long gone, so the icy waste becomes the road. The
rigs are insulated, have heavy snow tires, a MMG turret on the cab and an external LMG pivot
on the rear, for the "rear gunner." Being a rear gunner is the lowest and most despised job in
a Combine convoy.
design details: base Cost (14); Searchlight (1); Plow (1); Snow Tires (1); Heavy Vehicle Armor
(3); Turret (2); MMG (2); Pivot (1); LMG (1).
IC-4. Stormrider
modified snowmobile
Stormriders are the Outriders for The Combine convoys. Encased in a composite armored
shell, these sleek two-man vehicles are heavily armed.
design details: base Cost (4); Searchlight (1); Cockpit (2); Pivot (1); LMGx2 (2); Light Vehicle
Armor (1); Increased Nimbleness (1).
17
IC-5. Flash Boat
modified air boat / hovercraft
These are the fast transports of The Combine. Able to cross snow fields, ice, water and
roadways by riding on a cushion of air. However, Flash Boats face severe difficulty operating
in high winds.
design details: base Cost (6); Cockpit (2); Pontoons (1); Light Vehicle Armor (1); Pivot (1);
LMG (1); Increased Speed x2 (2); Reduced Toughness (-1); Floating Vehicle (-1).
IC-6. Snowclaw
modified snowmobile/motorcycle hybrid
Snowclaws are reserved for the best Convoy Outriders. Typically scout units. Rider skill is a
key component of this weapon system as the vehicle trades weapons for performance. Riding
one requires a hot suit, which can plug into the bike.
design details: base Cost (4); LMGx1 (1); Light Vehicle Armor (1); Increased Muscle (1);
Increased Nimblenessx2 (2); Increased Toughness (1); Increased Speedx2 (2).
18
IR-1. Striker
modified snowmobile
The city raiders favorite attack sled. Strikers are wicked looking snowmobiles highly
modified for agility and speed. Thick blades protrude from the sides and the pivot mount for
the LMG is directly over the back of the driver. This provides for a lower gun profile but
requires the driver to remain hunched over. The driver and gunner wear hot suits
(electrically heated suits, often homemade) that they can plug into the Strikers electrical
system to keep from frostbite.
design details: base Cost (4); Pivot (1); LMG (1); Body Blades (2)(treat as Wheel Spikes);
Increased Nimbleness (1); Increased Speed (1).
IT-1. Nor’Cat
mutant tiger/lion the size of a small horse
Nature adapted to the new ice age faster than any imagined. The genes of the last ice age
were close to the surface and many creatures rapidly “devolved” the traits of their Neolithic
forebearers. The tiger/lion prides that roamed the waste did no different. Prides of the long,
sleek and faintly stripped Nor’Cat began to appear soon after the first furriphants and musk
cattle emerged.
Who was the first person to try to ride one of these predators is unknown, but if raised
properly from cubs, these fearsome carnivores can be ridden. However, these creatures are
notoriously difficult to control, it being a difficult Zoofinity task just to mount one without being
attacked.
Skills: Athletics 4/6 (leaping and running), Brawl 3, Intimidate 2, Notice 2, Stealth 3/6
Mutations/Abilities: Thick Fur; Enhanced Sense (Hearing), Enhanced Sense (Smell), Leaping,
Natural Weapons (Bite/Claws), Night Vision, Stealthy, Swift
19
Other:
Although highly modified, the lines of this ancient beauty are not disturbed (much). The
special tricks and gear are elegantly tucked away under a perfect paint job.
design details: base Cost (9); Rocket Boosters (3); Rocket Launcher (5); Net Gun (1); Light
Armor (1); Increased Muscle (1); Increased Nimbleness (1); Increased Toughness (1); No
Cover (-2).
