BASS Software Limited (“BASS”) is pleased to announce the launch of the highly anticipated
BASSnet™ 2.10 - the latest release of its ERP Fleet Management Suite.

Developed for the shipping and offshore industries, this version comes with a host of enhancements
and new features. This is made possible thanks to BASS’ close collaboration with its global customer
community and incorporation of key industry trends.

Data Privacy

As a global solutions provider, BASS is committed to ensure the privacy and security of personal
data and comply with international privacy laws. The following are the enhancements that have
been implemented in BASSnet™ to achieve those objectives.

chosen maintenance regime against individual vessels
or the entire fleet.

• Fleet Management features allows you to plan, execute,

monitor and review Maintenance data and Maintenance
strategy centrally for your fleet.

• Fully integrated with Quality & Safety supporting the need

for work permits, safe job analyses, risk
assessment, event reporting etc.

Projects (Dry Docking)

• Seamless integration with BASSnet™ Maintenance,
BASSnet™ HR Manager, BASSnet™ Procurement and
BASSnet™ Financials allows you to monitor fleet-wide
projects with efficiency and transparency.

• Major enhancements are done where users are able to

monitor project costs, budgets with approvals, forecasts, daily
progress status in yard along with planned and ad-hoc jobs.
All this data is flowing to BASSnet™ Procurement and
Financials.

Procurement
• Enhancements in Contract Management module, e-Invoice
Management as well as integration with Projects modules
gives you tighter control in managing your budgets.

Financials
• Covers all aspects of accounting cycle such as GL,
Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgets
etc. and seamless data brought-overs from other modules
gives you operational efficiency.

Operations
• A new version of the Ship Log feature with an updated
user interface design rendered using Microsoft’s
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) development
framework is now available under the Operations
module.

• This new version of Ship Log has a user-friendly design

organized by three activity categories: Voyage Event,
Special Event and Operational Event.

• Operations module includes Vessel Particulars,

various electronic logs, Manage work and rest hours,
managing certificates and Environment Management.

• In-built logic makes your organization compliant for EU

(MRV) - for Monitoring, Reporting and Verification.

Safety & Information Reporting (SAFIR)

• Ensure that quality management principles are
implemented in all business processes performed
in the system. The methodology is based on the main
principals within the revised ISO 9001 standards and
ISM Code.

• This includes event handling (accidents/incidents etc),

audits & inspections, Vettings, lesson learnt, Training
and drills.

• Powerful statistics feature allows you to have in-depth

analysis related to safe operations across the fleet.

Risk Management
• Integrated to various modules such as BASSnet™
Maintenance and various approval workflows, allowing
you to manage fleet-wide risk free operations.

• This includes work permits, risk assessment and safe

job analyses.

• Powerful Document Management System facilitates
‘paperless office’. Efficient way to manage and distribute
statutory and company documents across
your fleet and offices.

• Feature to access and attach documents at each

transaction level gives you powerful control to implement
quality management system.

Human Resource Manager

• Ensures efficient crew management and covers entire
processes from recruitment, planning, compliance to STCW
and Crew Matrix, manage Crew travels, trainings, crew
budgets as well as comprehensive Payroll covers workflow,
various Crew nationalities and statutory requirements.

• Also integrated to external systems such as training

providers, Travel agents as well as banks for crew
payments.

Reviews & Improvements

• The third edition of the Tanker Management and
Self-Assessment: A Best Practice Guide (TMSA) is now
available on the TMSA Overview screen.

• This new edition updates the guide to reflect the current

legislation and emerging issues, and incorporates feedback
from companies and users of previous editions of TMSA, as
well as providing guidance on the Oil Companies
International Marine Forum’s (OCIMF) view of industry best
practices.

• Includes powerful feature to review company-wide

processes as part of management cycle.

Ports Management
• Provides all port forms required by ports worldwide to
comply with port state authorities and IMO.

• Auto-population of data into related forms from other

BASSnet™ modules.

• Covers Port information of all worldwide ports (port guide).
