Mini MileWide LED

To complete the mini-platform and expand it to the Urban Street portfolio, we have
launched the Mini-MileWide LED.

It is based on the same concept as the Mini Iridium, Mini Koffer² and Mini Modena and
therefore has exactly the same performance.

The codes and configurator have been opened at the end of September.

Already 3,500 Mini Iridium LED on the field !

More than 3500 Mini Iridium LED have been sold in Europe, and sales keep
growing month after month !
The success of this new LED luminaire is pushing us to extend the range with a
Neutral White version, allowing to have a higher lumen output (almost 2000
lumens).

Mini Iridium LED Neutral White is going to provide extremely efficient solutions for
residential areas, thanks to this higher lumen package and to new optics offering
flexible configurations: streets from 3m to 12m width, covering lighting class from
S6 to S4, with a ratio spacing/height = 6 to 8.

The Neutral White version of Mini Iridium LED will be available from W1/2010. Mini
Modena LED & Mini Koffer² LED will follow.

Fusion : the new Iridium bracket

The Fusion bracket for Iridium is now available at our partner, Valmont.

For low mounting height (4.5-6m), the 0.75m version will be perfect for mini Iridium and
Iridium SGS252/452.
The 1.25m version is ideal for SGS453 & SGS454 when they are installed from 7 to 12m or
more.
Both versions are also available for wall mounting or for “twin” installations.

It comes in addition to the existing one (ZRS250) and contributes to give Iridium a very
nice day-time appearance.

ColorGuide: a perfect finishing for complete solutions

We now have in our range a LED decorative element for masts. The temporary
name is ColorGuide.
It can be for decorative purposes as well as to enhance guidance towards cities.
Some cities use it for identification of some parts or for city identification…

ColorGuide exists in Cool White - Neutral White - Warm White - Green - Cyan - Blue
- Royal Blue - Red - Red orange – Amber.
All LEDs are Philips Rebel.

It fits on top of D60, 76 or 90mm poles as well as on brackets.

Successful Pilot Project with Koffer² LED in Germany

The recently opened school centre of Isernhagen in central Germany equipped
their park-, road- and facility-lighting with Koffer² LED luminaires

On November the 10th, Isernhagens Mayor together with several representatives of

the electrical company and the school administration the first installation of LED
Fortimo technology in Germany.

Replacing antiquated 80W bowl-luminaires with Philips Koffer² LED which

consumes only 30W will save the community around 70% of energy

The introduction of Koffer² LED will start in December with the 1800lm version. In
the beginning of 2010 the 4500lm version will follow.

DynaDimmer
DynaDimmer is a fantastic opportunity for you and your
customer to get the exact dimming levels you need.
It allows you to play with the lighting levels of 5 different
dimming periods, giving you the possibility to get a tailor-
made dimming scenario in an extremely simple way.

DynaDimmer works with a very easy-to-use software that is

generating the scenario. The factory simply needs to upload
the scenario worked out by you or your customer in the
electronic device that is installed in the luminaire.

DynaDimmer is already available in CitySpirit cone LED,

CitySoul LED (ETO), Iridium.
It will also be available for Street LedGine

This is really Sense & Simplicity !

ZVF320 Geartrays
We made some modifications on ZVF320 geartrays.

The first is a change in the designations. Ignitors are only mentioned either on the
floodlight or on the geartray but no more both which was very confusing.
Semi-parallel and parallel ignitors are located on the geartray ; ZVF320 will have SP or
PA in its designation and nothing on the floodlight.
Series ignitor is located in the floodlight ; ZVF320 will have no information in its
designation and the floodlight will have SI.

The second is the phasing-out of digital ignitors for SON-T versions and replaced by
semi-parallel ignitor with both short or long distance capacitance.

The electrical components changed in some versions and the details on ballast, ignitor,
capacitor with supplier information is available on intranet.

Marine Salt Protection

Marine Salt Protection is a new state-of-the-art painting process
that is meant to secure long-lasting appearance quality of our
luminaires.

Using a special pre-treatment and carefully monitored double

coating, luminaires with this option withstand 1.000 hours salt
spray test.

This option is mandatory for all installations less than 15km

near the sea side, and advised for zones with known aggressive
atmospheres (industrial parks).

It is available in configurator or through derived depending on

product range – here you can download a summary

We recently installed new LED luminaires in the three different demonstration rooms:
- UrbanScene LED in the city center demonstration room
- CitySoul LED in the Residential room (4 luminaires) and in the Roadlighting room (5 luminaires)
