III. EVALUATION
In connection with the celebration of World Architecture last October 1, 2018 with the
theme “…for a better world!”, the organization aims to promote conservation of
biological and cultural diversity through tree planting activity. Our target is to bring
about noticeable improvements in urban greenery, to enhance existing greened areas,
and to enhance opportunities of quality. We, the United Architects of the Philippines –
Student Auxiliary (UAPSA), are to continue the said activity that was started by the
Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) Philippines with the
assistance of the Tuguegarao City Environment and Natural Resources Office headed by
Atty. Noel Mora. Atty Noel Mora and some volunteers helped locate the Golden Shower
seedling by marking the spot of where it is to be planted through the placement of the
straw and the distribution of the pegs beforehand. After the marks had been located, the
UAPSA members immediately started to their individual tasks. We, the United
Architects of the Philippines – Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) members, United Architect of
the Philippines (UAP) representative, Ar. Ana Lea Diego and Ar. Paulene Pajarillo,
volunteers from USL and the Environment and Natural Resources Office, and Atty. Noel
Mora successfully planted exactly 100 Golden Shower seedlings.
