Work Experience
● Burr Oak Golf Course
Trying to be more responsible and get work experience, I put in an application at Burr Oak and
got hired on the spot. I started on June 8, 2018 as a summer job. My work performance and
motivation was above and beyond as said by both my manager and the owner. I unfortunately
had to leave on September 15, 2018 due to a transportation issue that could not be avoided.
However, now that I have a car at my disposal, any job that I apply for now I can drive myself.
● High School Home Game Popcorn Stand
I work the popcorn stand a lot as work and volunteering. I have been doing this for 5 years and
have gained key skills such as customer interaction, register experience, how to properly clean
the workplace, timing, and how to properly maintain a work environment.

● Working popcorn for HS Band
● Played music for a church on Christmas eve
● Done multiple church youth programs to help little kids
● Help people with around the neighborhood with outside activities (gardening, cleaning
yards, spreading new mulch around houses

● Creative mind) My imagination is a little crazy, but it has helped me in the past. Ex: I
once reorganized the entire backroom for the JACC Sales and Marketing storage area
● Understanding of how to work a cash register) Working a popcorn machine means
working with a lot of money because people love popcorn
● Organization/Stocking new shipments) My creative imagination is a very useful tool to
create systems that are systematically proven to work flawlessly. Ex: Reorganizing the
Sales and Marketing backroom
● Punctual) Always on time unless it’s an emergency or a cause that is not my fault
● Hard Working) I have a “Give-em Hell” attitude when a project is thrown my way.
● Good communicating) I am a very talkative person when I do something. I am hardly a
shy guy
● “Last one out” job tactic) Job’s not done until it’s done right
● Open Minded) I can take criticism fairly well considering how normal people take
criticism from bosses and employees
● Unique) I almost always have a happy personality on when I walk into the workplace
● Very Outgoing) Talking with people and getting to know them cheers them up and
makes them feel welcomed when they enter a store or restaurant.
● Humorous) Jokes and Riddles are my speciality. I love telling them to keep the work
environment from slowing down and feel boring
● Charismatic) I have energy in me that makes people like what they do. Ex: At JACC,
people started coming to me saying that one of the reasons they love this class is my
personality in the class
● Energetic) I have a passion that drives me to work hard at my job well
● Passionate) I can be very “down to earth” if people are sad or upset. I hate seeing a
person who is unhappy and I can’t change that.
