From our company’s beginnings in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) in

1983, Mirasco has grown to include sales offices and long-time

trade partners across four continents.
Our primary business is distributing frozen meat commodities
and animal feed ingredients primarily sourced from North and
South American producers, to importers, distributors and further
processors in key world markets.
We have been successful because we focus on delivering added
value to our trade partners. To do this we explore markets for
opportunities, collaborate to develop suitable options to fulfill

Egyptian born, Latif Rizk began his career in international trade in 1950 at
the age of 22, importing chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and later, exporting
Egyptian snack foods to the region.
In 1975, he immigrated to the U.S. and began exporting various food products
and ingredients to Egypt and surrounding markets. As a pioneer in USDA’s early
international marketing efforts, he was the first to introduce frozen imported
beef and poultry products to the Egyptian market.
Recognizing expansion opportunities worldwide, Mr. Rizk founded Mirasco
Inc. in 1983. His two sons joined him in the family business, and together, they
established strategic branches in key global markets and supply regions.
Throughout his sixty-year career, Mr. Rizk’s personal and business integrity
were instrumental in building strong relationships with some of the world’s
largest and most reputable processors.
Today, brothers Saher and Sami Rizk continue their father’s legacy—leveraging
strong relationships and their team’s expertise, to deliver value in the fast-paced
global marketplace.
 Strategically located in North America, South America, Europe and
the Middle East, Mirasco’s regional offices are staffed with trade and
logistics specialists who are focused on your company’s success, as

World beef supply is affected by a complex set of dynamics: rising demand, wide
fluctuations in production costs and constant changes in trade laws. Our partnerships
with leading producers and processors in key production regions help assure our
customers reliable supply of the full range of bone-in and boneless primal cuts,
as well as variety meats and offal.

Poultry helps meet the nutritional needs of nearly every culture around the
world. In many countries, chicken and turkey consumption outpaces production,
creating a gap to be filled through imports. Mirasco’s presence at the center of
poultry supply regions in North and South America allows us to bridge this gap.

Rising demand for seafood is a fact in virtually every world region. Based on
customer needs, Mirasco focuses on specific species, both wild caught and
farmed. Packaged under our own brands and our supplier partners’ labels, we
provide whole-round fish as well as fillets—processed, packed, and frozen either
on land, or at sea on factory ships.

All commodity products purchased and shipped by Mirasco are processed,
packaged and stored to meet or exceed each country of origin’s agricultural
and food safety requirements including: Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and SSOP
(Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
