Assignment Title: Q1 Mid-Unit: Resume

Student Writing Goal: My writing goal is to be able to score 80% or more on all off the assignments that were given. I
want to also expanded my word choices and be able to stay on topic and no get off track or repeat words and phrases.

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this writing assignment was to be able to prepare me for the future job opportunities and
know how to be able to express myself and myknowledge to others.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I preformed alright in relation to the rubric. I had followed some of the guidelines, however I did rush
through it to be able to turn it in on time. I didn’t fully out in all my effort in to the resume which could be
really beneficial towards my future

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did well in not using first person in this assignment, also explaning my past work experience in the jobs I
had. Although I did not explain how I did in my high school career. I explained precisely what I had done in
work with the use of minimal words and not using first person.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I have chosen to revise this writing piece due to me not fully putting my effort into it.I had rushed through the
resume leaving many things out such as how I did in school, what occupation my three refrences have, and
properly bullet pointthe task I had done in my past carrers

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
In my future writing assignments I will put more effort and focus on what im writing, I will achieve this by
not slacking till last minute to finish the assignment I will a little each day before the due date comes and I
will be prepared

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I achieved my goals in a small way. I only achieved it by expanding my word choice, I had stated different
words I don’t originally use in my everyday life. I had also manage to stay on topic and focus on what the
objective of what the resume was for.
