Evidence: Consolidation activity

Stage 1: The person I admire the most

A. What to do?

Write a biography of the person you admire the most. This person can be, for
example, a public figure, a celebrity, a politician, a world leader or someone
close to you, a relative.

Note: The person you choose cannot be the same chosen for Evidence 3 of
this learning activity.

B. How to do it?

You need to carry out some research in order to collect the necessary
information for writing the biography. If the person chosen is a public figure,
you can surf the web in order to get the details you are going to include. On
the contrary, if the person chose is someone you know personally, you can set
up an interview in order to ask the person the questions you may have about
his / her life.

Here is an outline we suggest following for writing the biography. We have

chosen Charles Darwin (public figure), an influential scientist of the
nineteenth century, as example for the outline.

3. Darwin's evolutionary theory.
4. Overwork, illness, and marriage.
5. Natural selection.
6. Geology books, barnacles, evolutionary research.
7. Publication of the theory of natural selection.
8. Responses to publication.
9. Descent of man, sexual selection, and botany.
10. Death and funeral.
Stage 2: My admiration for…

A. What to do?

In this section, you will record a tape or video in which you orally present the
person you chose in Section 1. For this part of the evidence you need to
present the biography as well as explain and illustrate the reasons why you
admire this person.

I present to my character that I chose the athlete Mariana Pajon for whom I admire and for
that reason I will present the details of her life.

INTRODUCTION:

Sport is a very important part of our daily life. Really for a healthy life and to improve the
quality of life all recommend healthy habits such as practicing some sports a day and a
balanced diet.

The information presented below covers the life stage of Mariana Pajon, the life that
inspired her to carry out her works, the events that inspired her to be an athlete in her
country, the life of her parents and grandparents, her history in Childhood and
adolescence. For this day. We can also see in what context she lived to realize the dream of
being an outstanding athlete. The same ones that have been programmed in chapters duly
illustrated with photographs, international competitions transmitted in the television and
critic of the facts of his life.

Place of birth: Municipality of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.

Occupation: She is an athlete, bicicrosista, BMX cyclist.

 TITLES OBTAINED.

His most outstanding triumphs: Gold medal in the Olympic Games of Rio 2016, Gold medal
in the Olympic Games of London 2012.

ARGUMENTS AND ILLUSTRATIONS

I never saw the competitions in which she participated, but what I admire about her is the
first Latin American woman to get two Olympic gold medals in an individual sport, that's
why I have a lot of respect.

Also being the only Colombian athlete to achieve a double Olympic championship.

CONCLUSION:

The conclusion we reached is that Mariana Pajon is a person who has had memorable
memories, an example of which are the Olympic Games of Rio 2016 and London 2012 that
many of the Colombians saw their participation in them. He was born in Medellin
Colombia on October 10, 1991. He received his first in 2012, which was the Prize of a gold
medal.

In all we must learn from it because it gives us a clear example that we should not give up
for something that can be easily solved but not, but if there are obstacles we must win
because if we want to achieve something there is nothing. That can not be avoided, so we
must fight for everything we want to improve every day, no matter what happens.

B. How to do it?

Note: During the presentation you need to include the appropriate

signpost language for oral presentations and also some of the
vocabulary related to responsibility and leadership.

When you finish your work, send the files to your instructor through the platform
as follows:
