case vs Cayetano

THE Commission on Elections
(Comelec) yesterday junked a peti-
tion seeking the disqualification of
former Foreign Affairs secretary
Alan Peter Cayetano, who is seek-
ing a House seat in the fust disttict
of Taguig-Pateros.
In an 18-page decisioo, the
Comelec Second Division said
Cayetano did not commit any mis-
representatiorq particularly with his
declared residence.

The petition questioned why
the Cayetanos, as husband and

while Lani claimed she tesides in
Barangay Fort Bonifacio in the
second district.
