I. Learning Objectives
Through an interactive discussion and an activity, the students should be able to:
A. identify and define intentional injuries and give examples;
B. explain the importance in knowing the intentional injuries by relating it to real life
situation; and
C. answer the formative assessment.
E. Skill
Answering the formative test, reading comprehension and will develop their
listening skills.
F. Value
The students will understand that in every action that they do, they might
harm people and so they should be more sensitive.
IV. Learning Procedure
A. Preparation
I. Motivation
The students are tasked to arrange the jumbled letters.

B. Presentation
1. Call a student to read each slide.
2. Discuss the meaning of intentional injury.
3. Present and discuss the different examples of intentional injury.
C. Application
Answer the following:
1. Defined as a relatively tough, mostly street-based group of young people who
regard themselves.
2. A suicide attempt in which a person does not intend to die
3. It is when someone repeatedly contacts you, follows you, sends you things, talks to
you, even when you don’t want them.
4. The act intended to cause injury or damage to a person.
5. An unwanted, aggressive behavior which can be repeated over time.
D. Generalization
Raise the questions:
What are the possible causes of intentional injuries to your family/friends?
How are we going to prevent this kind of injury?
V. Assignment/Agreement
Research about the ways to prevent intentional injury. It can be printed but for those who
will write their assignment write it in a 1 whole sheet of paper.
