Applications in the prescribed format are invited, under rolling advertisement system, for the following
posts:-
1. Professor, 2. Associate Professor, 3. Assistant Professor – in various disciplines in the University.
01.Duly filled-in applications in the prescribed format should reach to the Registrar, Guru Ghasidas
Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (CG) throughout the duration of the advertisement by registered/Speed post only.
However, the applicants residing abroad (not residing in India) may send their applications, through E-mail at

02.The details of Application form (Annexure-I), Vacant Positions (Annexure-II), Minimum Eligibility (Annexure-
III) and General Instructions (Annexure-IV), may be downloaded from the university website www.ggu.ac.in.
03.Reservation and Relaxations will be given as per GOI/UGC Rules to all the persons belong to SC/ST/OBC/PH
category.
04 The candidates who had applied earlier against the Advertisement No.20/Rec/Adm/2016 dated 29-07-2016 are
exempted of application of fee but they have to apply again, submitting a fresh application mentioning the details
of earlier application.
05.The candidates who have applied against earlier advertisement No. 20/Rec/Admn/2016 dated 29-07-2016 under
any category if desire may now express their willingness for considering their application under the changed
category (if any) of posts as per this advertisement, by submitting fresh application form.
06.Various vacant positions under different categories (roster) may be changed if any, in the future as per the
directions of the MHRD/UGC on the reservations in teacher's cader posts (Roster positions)
07. Any change or amendment in this advertisement shall be displayed on the university website only, therefore the
aspiring candidates are advised to visit University website regularly and remain updated.
