To make it convenient to all readers, this timetable is given in a text that is mobile
responsive and mobile friendly. The timetable for Malaysia is according to the data
by the Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM), while for Singapore by the Majlis
Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS).
The period of fasting starts from the sunrise (Subuh prayer time) until sunset
(Maghrib prayer time). The period of Imsak is a reminder period that the time for
suhur is almost over. In Malaysia and Singapore, it’s set as 10 minutes before the
Subuh Prayer Time comes in.
Fasting is not only holding back your hunger and thirst, but the ethics when you’re
fasting must also be followed so that our fast is accepted by Allah and not become a
waste.
If you only want to check today’s iftar time (and also today’s imsak time), it’s easier
