 Bagian 2: Instalasi

- Pastikan lubang udara pada bagian depan dan belakang mesin pengering (dryer) tidak tertutup.
- Bagian belakang pada mesin pengering (dryer) akan menjadi sangat panas pada saat mesin
pengering (dryer) bekerja.
- Pastikan bagian belakang dari mesin pengering (dryer) tidak mudah didatangi pada saat mesin
beroperasi.
- Jangan menggunakan kabel penyambung. Steker pada mesin pengering (dryer) harus
dihubungkan langsung ke stop kontak.
- Pasang filter pada tempatnya.
- Letakkan mesin pengering (dryer) dimana steker dapat mudah dicapai setelah instalasi.
- Bersihkan mesin pengering (dryer) (bagian luar & dalam) dari debu/kotoran dengan kain yang
lembab.
- Bau dari heater akan hilang setelah periode pertama dari pemanasan.
Perhatian:
Mesin pengering (dryer) ini harus dihubungkan dengan sumber listrik yang telah dihubungkan dengan
tanah/grounding.

Keluaran air (ED 850)

Air terkondensasi tidak selalu perlu dibuang ke tanki, jika
memungkinkan air tersebut dapat juga dikuras secara
langsung.
Untuk mengganti pipa saluran keluar air dapat dilakukan
dengan cara menarik pipa air sesuai arah panah (lihat
gambar A). Kemudian pasang pipa keluaran.

Mengatur ketinggian
1. Aturlah ketinggian unit untuk mencegah getaran dan suara berisik.
Mesin harus dipasang di tempat yang bersih dan bebas dari bahan yang mudah terbakar, air dan
es. Untuk mengurangi getaran dan suara berisik pada saat unit digunakan, unit harus dipasang
ditempat yang rata dan kokoh.
2. Untuk mengatur ketinggian dapat dilakukan dengan cara memutar kaki bagian depan: untuk
merendahkan dapat dilakukan dengan memutar kaki berlawanan arah jarum jam, untuk
meninggikan lakukan putaran sebaliknya sampai unit tidak lagi
bergetar pada saat digunakan.
3. Setelah selesai penyesuaian tinggi, periksalah keseimbangan unit
dengan cara menekan tiap ujung sudut cover atas, jika masih
goyang itu berarti unit masih butuh penyesuaian.
4. Jangan menaruh tumpukan handuk dilantai dekat dengan unit,
karena dapat menimbulkan panas dan menggangu kinerja unit.

PENTING:
o
Udara panas dipan carkan oleh mesin pengering dengan suhu yang bisa mencapai 60 C. Pastikan
unit dipasang ditempat dengan lantai yang tahan terhadap suhu tinggi. Ketika mengoperasikan unit,
o o
suhu ruangan tidak boleh lebih rendah dari 5 C dan lebih tinggi dari 35 C karena akan mempengaruhi
kinerja pengering.

Hubungan Listrik
Segala bentuk pengerjaan yang terkait dengan listrik dalam pemasangan unit ini harus dilakukan oleh
teknisi yang berpengalaman dan profesional.

Peringatan : Unit ini harus digrounding

Produsen tidak bertanggung jawab atas segala bentuk kerusakan dan kerugian yang ditimbulkan
akibat tidak mengikuti petunjuk keselamatan yang diberikan.

Sebelum mengaktifkan unit, pastikan bahwa suplai tegangan listrik sesuai dengan spesifikasi pada
unit.
Jika steker perlu diganti, ikuti penjelasan di bawah ini.
Warna kabel pada kabel power menunjukan kode berikut:
Hijau dan kuning – Earth / grounding
Biru - Netral
Coklat - Live
Kabel berwarna hijau dan kuning harus terhubung ke terminal ditandai dengan huruf atau simbol
(earth) atau berwarna hijau dan kuning.

Bagian 3: Cara Penggunaan

PERSIAPAN SEBELUM MENGOPERASIKAN MESIN PENGERING (DRYER)
1. Pastikan bahwa sumber listrik sesuai dengan petunjuk pemasangan.
2. Lepaskan benda dan busa pengaman yang ada dalam drum.
3. Sebelum digunakan untuk pertamakalinya, disarankan untuk membersihkan bagian dalam drum
dengan cara menaruh beberapa potong kain lembab kedalam drum kemudian keringkan selama
30 menit.
4. Sortir pakaian yang akan dikeringkan berdasarkan jenis bahan dan warna.
5. Periksalah petunjuk International Text ile Care Label (ITCL) yang tertera pada pakaian.
6. Bahan yang lembut seperti stocking harus dimasukkan ke dalam kantung jala.
7. Tutup sarung bantal dengan kencang untuk mencegah cucian berukuran kecil masuk
kedalamnya. Kaitkan kancing, resleting, kait celana dan rok.
8. Jangan mengeringkan pakaian berwarna gelap dengan bahan berbulu seperti handuk dengan
warna terang, karena serat bulu akan nampak pada warna gelap pakaian.
9. Peras dan bentangkan kemeja sebelum dikeringkan.
10. Kain rajut atau sejenisnya kemungkinan akan sedikit mengkerut selama pengeringan. Jangan
mengeringkan terlalu kering untuk bahan jenis ini.
11. Anda juga bisa mengeringkan item yang dikanji. Bagaimanapun, untuk mendapatkan efek
pengkajian yang diinginkan, pilih program ”Iron dry”. Untuk menghilangkan bekas kanji, lap
bagian dalam drum setelah proses pengeringan dengan menggunakan kain lembab dan
keringkan.
12. Disarankan untuk mengeringkan pakaian besar dan kecil bersamaan.
13. Untuk menghindari pakaian kaku, d isarankan untuk menggunakan pelembab pakaian pada saat
proses pencucian atau menggunakan kondisioner kusus kain untuk penggunaan mesin pengering
(dryer) pakaian.
14. Jika item tertentu masih basah setelah dikeringkan, atur pengeringan berdasarkan waktu
setidaknya 30 menit. Hal ini diperlukan terutama untuk b agian yang berlapis (seperti kerah,
kantong dll).
15. Baliklah item dengan lapisan kain dobel sehingga hasil pengeringan lebih baik.
16. Jangan memasukkan beban yang terlalu berat ke dalam mesin pengering (dryer) atau
mengeringkan benda besar seperti duvet atau s leeping bag karena hal ini dapat menghambat
sirkulasi udara di dalam mesin pengering (dryer).
17. Jangan terlalu kering dalam mengeringkan pakaian, hal ini untuk menghindari kekusutan dan
agar mudah diseterika.

18. Pastikan ventilasi udara baik dan suhu ruangan tidak melebeihi 35 C.
19. Pakaian yang akan dikeringkan harus telah di SPIN atau diperas terlebih dahulu.

Tombol Buzzer
T o mb ol # 1 : Jika tombol buzzer diaktifkan maka akan ada sinyal suara/bel pada akhir setiap
program.

Tombol Qui ck
T o mb ol # 2 :
Fungsi ini dapat mengurangi waktu pengeringan 10 menit.

Tombol Delicate
T o mb ol # 3 : Fungsi “Delicate” digunakan untuk pengeringan berbahan halus, pengeringan akan
dilakukan pada suhu yang lebih rendah.
Tombol Delay Start
T o mb ol # 4 : Tombol ini memung kinkan Anda untuk menunda memulai program sampai dengan
24 jam.
Child Lock
T o mb ol # 5 : Tombol pengaman program terpilih, sehingga tidak dapat dirubah pada saat
beroprasi.
Layar Display
T o mb ol # 6 : Layar Display akan menunjukan lamanya proses pengeringan d alam jam dan
menit, dan waktu akan dihitung mundur tiap 1 menit.
Lampu Indikator
T o mb ol # 7 :
Lampu indikator akan menyala sesuai proses yang sedang berjalan.
Tombol Start/Pause
T o mb ol # 8 :
Berfungsi untuk memulai/menghentikan program pengeringan.
Lampu Indikator Kondensor
T o mb ol # 9 : Lampu indikator untuk kondensor, penampung air kondensasi dan penggantian
filter.
Knob Pilihan Program
Tombol # 10 :
Berfungsi untuk memilih dan mengatur program pengeringan yang diinginkan.

Tombol Buzzer
T o mb ol 1 : Jika tombol buzzer diaktifkan maka akan ada sinyal suara/bel pada akhir

Tombol Quick

Fungsi ini dapat mengurangi waktu pengeringan 3-5 menit.

Tombol Delicate
T o mb ol 3 : Fungsi “Delicate” digunakan untuk pengeringan berbahan halus,
pengeringan akan dilakukan pada suhu yang lebih rendah.

Tombol Delay Start

T o mb ol 4 : Tombol ini memungkinkan Anda untuk menunda memulai program sampai
dengan 12 jam.
Layar Display
T o mb ol 5 : Layar Display akan menunjukan lamanya pro ses pengeringan dalam jam
dan menit, dan waktu akan dihitung mundur tiap 1 menit.

Tombol Start/Pause
T o mb ol 6 :
Berfungsi untuk memulai/menghentikan program pengeringan.
Lampu Indikator
T o mb ol 7 :
Lampu indikator akan menyala sesuai proses yang sedang be rjalan.
Knob Pilihan Program
T o mb ol 8 : Berfungsi untuk memilih dan mengatur program pengeringan yang
diinginkan.

PENGOPERASIAN

- Buka pintu mesin pengering (dryer) , kemudian m asukan pakaian yang akan dikeringkan satu
persatu, pastikan pakaian tidak tersangkut pintu atau filter.
- Pilih program yang dibutuhkan dengan cara memutar tombol pemilih program.
- Lampu indikator pada tombol Start / Pause akan menyala.
- Proses ini akan mati secara otomatis jika Anda tidak menekan tombol apapun selama 10 menit.

Tombol pemilih dibagi menjadi b eberapa bagian sebagai berikut:

- Cottons
- Synthetics
- Time
- Special

Pengeringan Otomatis
Sistem pengeringan ini berlaku untuk program pengeringan Cottons, Synthetics, Anti -Bacterial dan
Silk Program. Mesin pengering (dryer ) akan mendeteksi tingkat kelembaban pada cucian yang akan
dikeringkan dan secara otomatis menyesuaikan waktu pengeringan sesuai program pengeringan
yang dipilih. Untuk hasil pengeringan yang optimal pilihlah program pengeringan sesuai dengan jenis
kain yang akan dikeringkan.

Pengeringan dengan program Timer

Bila diperlukan Anda dapat memilih program Timer untuk mengeringkan cucian sesuai lamanya
waktu pengeringan yang Anda inginkan. Pilih program 90 atau perlu 60 menit untuk katun atau
program 30 menit untuk sintetis. Untuk membatalkan program yang sedang berjalan, putar tombol
pemilih program ke posisi "O". Pada akhir pengeringan, putar tombol pemilih keposisi "O" untuk
mematikan mesin sebelum mengeluarkan cucian.

Tombol Program Optional

Untuk mengoptim alkan proses pengeringan beberapa program pengeringan dapat digabungkan
dengan program “optional”. Program optional dipilih setelah memilih program pengeringan yang
diinginkan dan sebelum menekan tombol “Start / Pause”. Ketika tombol ditekan, lampu indikat or akan
menyala sesuai fungsi program yang dipilih, ketika tombol ditekan sekali lagi lampu akan mati .

Tombol Buzzer
Setelah menyalakan unit, buzzer tidak aktif jika Anda tidak memilih operasi apapun.
Fungsi buzzer dapat diaktifkan atau dinonaktifkan se lama proses ber langsung. Dengan
menekan tombol "Buzzer", bel berbunyi dan lampu indikator buzzer akan menyala. Ketika
buzzer aktif, akan ada sinyal suara dalam kasus berikut ini:
- Ketika menekan tombol apapun.
- Pada akhir program.
Ketika buzzer aktif, jika Anda menekan tombol "buz zer" sekali lagi, buzzer akan mati.

Tombol Quick
Fungsi ini bisa dipilih pada program : "Heavy", "Strong", dan "Normal". Dengan menekan
tombol ini waktu pengeringan akan berkurang 10 menit (3-5 menit untuk ED 650). Lampu
pada tombol “Quick” akan menyala. Pilihan ini tidak dapat dipilih bersama -sama dengan
"Option Delicate".

Delicate
Opsi ini dapat dipilih pada bagian berikut ini:
"Cottons", "Synthetics", "Time". Jika mengaktifkan fungsi “Delicate” pengeringan akan
dilakukan pada suhu yang lebih rendah, untuk pakaian berbahan halus. Lampu indikator
pada tombol “Delicate” akan menyala. Fungsi ini dapat juga digunakan bersamaan
dengan fungsi pengeringan dengan setting waktu. Fungsi ini tidak dapat digunakan pada
pengeringan cepat/ “Quick”.

Delay Start
Tombol ini memungkinkan Anda untuk menunda memulai program sampai dengan 24
jam (12 jam untuk ED 650). Untuk mengaktifkan fungsi ini pilih program pengeringan
yang Anda inginkan kemudian pilih fungsi “Delay Start”, kemudian tombol “Start/Pause”.
Setiap kali tombol “Delay Start” ditekan, waktu tunda meningkat 1 jam.

Fungsi “Delay start” dapat dipilih sebelum atau sesudah memilih program optional
(Buzzer, Quick, dan Delicate), Hitu ngan mundur dimulai setelah Anda menekan tombol
Start / Pause dan lampu indikator pada tombol “Delay Start” akan menyala. Waktu yang tersisa
ditampilkan perjam pada layar display. Fungsi “Delay Start” tidak dapat difungsikan pada program
“Special”.

Layar Display
Layar menampilkan informasi berikut:
- Setelah Anda memilih program pengeringan, lamanya proses pengeringan akan muncul pada
layar (dalam jam dan menit). Hal ini dihitung secara otomatis berdasarkan beban maksimum
yang diterima untuk setiap jenis kai n dan tingkat pengeringan yang dipilih. Ketika program
dimulai, sisa waktu ditampilkan setiap 1 menit.

Delay start
- Jika Anda telah memilih waktu tunda dengan menggunakan tombol yang relevan, layar
display akan menampilkan hitungan mundur yang ditampilkan perjam. Fungsi “Delay/Start”
akan dimulai setelah tombol "Start / Pause" ditekan. Jika Anda ingin memeriksa program
yang dipilih, tekan tombol "Start / Pause" sekali lagi, maka layar display akan menunjukkan
durasi program yang dipilih sebelumnya. Fungsi “Delay Start” tidak dapat digunakan pada
program "Special".

Pemilihan Program yang keliru

- Jika Anda memilih pilihan program yang tidak kompatibel dengan program yang telah Anda
pilih, layar menampilkan ERS (error). Kode ini akan muncul kembali jika Anda m enekan salah
satu tombol pilihan atau memutar pemilih program selama pelaksanaan program.

Lampu indikator pada layar display (ED 850)

- Lampu
Akan menyala setelah penggunaan pengering, hal ini untuk mengingatkan Anda untuk
membersihkan kondensor. Dianju rkan untuk membersihkan kondensor tiga atau empat kali
dalam setahun.

- Lampu
Akan menyala setiapkali suatu program selesai digunakan, hal ini untuk mengingatkan Anda
untuk mengosongkan kotak penampung air hasil kondensasi. Catatan! Untuk menghindari
alarm berbunyi ketika menggunakan program selanjutnya, kosongkan penampung air
kondensasi setiap kali selesai menggunakan suatu program pengeringan.

- Lampu
Akan menyala setiap kali selesai menggunakan unit, hal ini untuk mengingatkan Anda untuk
selalu member sihkan filter. Jika filter tidak dibersihkan akan mempengaruhi efisiensi dari
proses pengeringan.

Tombol Start / Pause

Setelah memilih program pengeringan dan program optional, tekan tombol ini untuk memulai proses
pengeringan. Jika pintu mesin pengering (dryer) dibuka saat program sedang berjalan,maka setelah
pintu ditutup tekan tombol ini sekali lagi untuk memulai kembali program dari titik di mana ia terputus.
Dalam kasus ini lampu pada tombol “Start/Pause” akan berkedip untuk mengingatkan Anda bahwa
tombol start perlu ditekan lagi.

Lampu indikator pada panel kontrol
Lampu ini menunjukkan fungsi berikut:
- Lampu Indikator "Child Lock" (ED 850); Lampu ini menunjukan bahwa program telah dikunci.
- Lampu Indikator "Drying" ; Lampu ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengeringan sedang beroprasi.
- Lampu Indikator "Cooling"; Lampu ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pendinginan sedang beroprasi.
Pada akhir proses pengeringan cucian akan didinginkan, proses pendinginan akan memakan
waktu kurang lebih 10 menit.
- Lampu Indikator "End" ; Lampu ini akan menyala pada akhir fase pendinginan, dan selama fase
anti-kusut.
- Lampu Indikator "Filter" (ED 650); Lampu ini menyala disetiap siklus dan akhir program untuk
mengingatkan Anda bahwa filter harus dibersihkan.

Proses pendinginan
Semua program pengeringan diakhiri dengan proses pending inan pakaian selama kurun waktu 10
menit. Jika cucian tidak dikeluarkan pada akhir siklus, mesin akan melanjutkan ke proses anti -kusut
dengan durasi: maksimum 30 menit. Setelah proses anti-kusut selesai dan cucian tidak dikeluarkan,
mesin pengering (dryer) akan berhenti secara otomatis. Layar menampilkan "End" dan sinyal
bunyi/bel akan aktif selama 15 detik (jika fungsi “Buzzer” diaktifkan). Untuk mengakhiri putar tombol
pemilih program ke posisi "O", dan semua lampu akan mati.

Fungsi “Child Lock” (ED 850)

Ketika mesin menyala, tekan tombol “Delicate” dan “Delay Start” secara
bersamaan selama beberapa detik, kemudian sistem akan mengunci
semua, untuk menghentikan fungsi ini tekan secara bersamaan tombol yang
sama selama beberapa detik.

Setelah selesai penggunaan

Bersihkan filter.

Merubah program terpilih

Untuk mengubah program yang sedang berjalan, putar tomb ol pemilih program ke posisi "O" untuk
membatalkan program sebelumnya, kemudian pilih program baru dan tekan tombol Start.

Penting!
Jika program p engeringan harus dihentikan sebelum menca pai akhir, sebelum mengeluarkan cucian
kami menyarankan Anda memutar tombol pemilih program ke posisi “Air Dry” dan tunggu sampai
proses pendinginan selesai, hal ini bertujuan untuk me nghindari terjadinya penumpukan panas di
dalam mesin, untuk melakukan proses ini pertama putar t ombol pilihan program ke posisi "O",
kemudian putar ke posisi "Air Dry", selanjutnya tekan tombol “Start/Pause” sekali lagi.
Setiap kali selesai digunakan selalu bersihkan filter.

Perhatikan simbol -simbol kode pengeringan yang menempel pada label pakaian. Dalam merawat
pakaian Anda, sebaiknya sebelum mengeringkan dengan mesin perlu diperhatikan simbol -simbol
kode pengeringan yang menempel pada label pakaian Anda, ada pun uraiannya dijelaskan di bawah
ini :

Bagian 5: Pemeliharaan

Mesin pengering (dryer) MODENA dirancang secara khusus untuk pemakaian jangka waktu panjang
sehingga tidak memerlukan perawatan yang rumit. Namun, beberapa prosedur perawatan untuk hal
di bawah ini dianjurkan untuk perawatan mesin pengering (dryer) Anda.

Sebelum melakukan pemeliharaan dan perawatan pastikan unit tidak terhubung dengan sumber
listrik.

Control Panel:
Bersihkan dengan kain lap yang lembut dan lembab. Jangan menggunakan benda -benda kasar untuk
membersihkannya. Jangan menyemprot dengan cairan pemb ersih langsung ke bagian panel.

Beberapa produk cairan penghilang kotoran dapat merusak lapisan penutup pada control panel.
Gunakan produk tersebut jauh dari mesin pengering (dryer) Anda dan segera bersihkan control panel
jika terdapat tumpahan atau percikan dari cairan tersebut.

Steel Tumbler:
Untuk membersihkan steel tumbler, gunakan kain yang lembab dengan pembersih yang lembut yang
dapat digunakan untuk membersihkah permukaan bahan steel. Bersihkan sisa dari cairan pembersih
dengan kain lap yang bersih.

Bagian Luar Mesin pengering (dryer):

Bersihkan dengan kain lap yang lembut dan lembab. Jangan menggunakan benda -benda kasar untuk
membersihkannya. Lindungi permukaan dari benda-benda tajam.

Sistem Exhaust Mesin pengering (dryer) ED 650:

Harus diperiksa dan dibersihkan satu tahun sekali untuk menjaga performance yang optimal. Bagian
luar dari exhaust harus dibersihkan lebih sering untuk memastikan pengoperasian mesin pengering
(dryer) yang tepat.

Lint Filter (ED 650) :

Bersihkan lint filter setiap habis selesai pengeringan.

Filter (ED 850) :
- Bersihkan filter setiap habis selesai pengeringan.
- Mesin pengering akan berfungsi dengan baik hanya jika filter
dalam kondisi bersih.
- Untuk memastikan unit bekerja efektif, filter akan menyaring
dan mengumpulkan benang dan serat pakaian selama
proses pengeringan berlangsung.
- Lampu indikator “Filter” berfungsi untuk mengingatkan Anda,
bahwa filter harus dibersihkan.
- Untuk pembersihan filter harus dilepaskan.
- Ketika mengeringkan, serat pakaian ada yang terlepas,
pengering (dryer) melalui filternya akan menangkap dan mengumpulkan serat tersebut.
- Ketika hal diatas terjadi, gunakanlah sikat dan air hangat untuk m embersihkan filter. Buka pintu
dan lepaskan filter (lihat gambar).

Pintu:
Bersihkan secara berkala bagian dalam pintu (khususnya ED 850)
untuk menghilangkan benang dan serat-serat pakaian.

Peringatan : Pengering (dryer) harus digunakan dengan filter.

Mengosongkan penampung air (ED 850):

Penampung air menampung semua air dari kondensor. Penampung air butuh dikosongkan setiap
selesai digunakan. Jika tidak akan menurunkan performa kerja pengering (dryer). Jika penampung air
penuh, lampu indikator akan menyala ketika proses pengeringan berlangsung, dan suara
alarm/buzzer akan berbunyi. Pada situasi ini, penampung air harus dikosongkan dalam satu jam.

Membersihkan kondensor (ED 850):

Kondensor adalah salah satu bagian yang sangat penting da lam proses pengeringan. Sehingga
membutuhkan perhatian khusus. Disarankan Anda membersihkan kondensor tiga atau empat kali
dalam setahun.

3. Untuk membersihkan kondensor, letakan kondensor dibawah

keran dan pastikan air menyiram seluruh bagian kondensor.

Sensor suhu (ED 850):
Dalam proses nya, sensor suhu menginduksi tingkat kelembaban pak aian, sehingga permukaan
sensor harus dipastikan selalu dalam kondisi bersih.

Mengganti lampu (ED 850):

1. Buka pintu unit, lepaskan baut lampu yang

ada didalam drum kemudian lepaskan penutup
lampu.

2. Lepaskan bola lampu, dengan cara memut ar

berlawanan arah jarum jam, hati -hati jangan
sampai bola lampu terjatuh.

3. Pasang bola lampu dengan yang baru,

pastikan bola lampu terpasang dengan benar
dan kencang.

4. Pasang kembali penutup lampu.

Bagian 6: Tindakan Pencegahan

Petunjuk penting keselamatan harus selalu diperhatikan ketika Anda menggunakan mesin
pengering (dryer) ini :
- Pakaian yang terdapat aksesoris dari metal tidak diperbolehkan dikeringkan menggunakan mesin
pengering (dryer) . Mesin pengering (dryer) akan rusak jika aksesoris metal lepas pada saat
pengeringan. Harap gunakan rak pengering untuk mengeringkan pakaian dengan metal
aksesoris.
- Bacalah seluruh petunjuk yang ada dengan seksama sebelum mengoperasikannya.
- Pastikan voltase yang tertera pada mesin pengering (dryer) sesuai dengan voltase di rumah Anda
sebelum Anda menghubungkan mesin pengering (dryer) ini ke sumber listrik.
- Untuk menghindari kemungkinan terjadinya kebakaran :
a. Jangan mengeringkan pakaian yang telah tercuci/terendam/terpercik oleh bensin, cairan
pelarut untuk dry -cleaning, atau cairan yang mudah terbakar lainnya karena cairan -cairan
tersebut akan mengeluarkan uap yang dapat memicu terjadinya ledakan.
b. Pakaian yang mengandung bahan dari latex atau sejenisnya tidak diperbolehkan dikeringkan
pada suhu yang panas. Bahan-bahan in i jika dipanaskan pada keadaan tertentu dapat
menghasilkan api secara spontan.
- Jangan mengoperasikan mesin pengering (dryer) ini apabila kabel listrik atau stekernya rusak,
atau tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya.

 Part 2: Installation

- Make sure the air hole at the front and the back part of the drying machine (dryer) is not closed.
- The back part of the drying machine (dryer) will be very hot when it is turned on.
- Make sure the back part of the drying machine (dryer) is hard to be reached when the machine is
operating.
- Do not use connecting cable. The plug on the drying machine (dryer) mus t be connected directly
to the outlet.
- Install the filter on its place.
- Put the drying machine (dryer) where the outlet can easily be reached after installation.
- Clean the drying machine (dryer) (outside & inside part) from dust/dirt with moist fabric.
- Smell from the heater will disappear after the first period of heating.

Attention:
The drying machine (dryer) must be connected to the electrical source which has been connected to
the ground / grounding.

Water Output (ED 850)

Condensed water is not always needed to be thrown away to the
tank, if possible, the condensed water can also be drained
directly.
To change the direction of the water output pipe, it can be done
by pulling the water pipe according to the arrow direction (Look
picture A). Then insta ll the output pipe.

Setting the height

1. Set the unit height to prevent vibration and noise. The machine must be set at a clean place and
free from combustible materials, water and ice. To reduce vibration and noise when the unit is
used, the unit must be placed on a flat and strong surface.
2. To set the height, it can be done by rotating the front part of the leg: for
lowering, it can be done by rotating the leg counter -clockwise. To heighten
it, do the opposite rotation until the unit is not vibratin g anymore when it is
used.
3. After the height adjustment is done, check the unit balance by pressing
each corner of the upper cover, if it is still unsteady, that means the unit still
need adjusting.
4. Do not put pile of towels at the floor close to the unit, because it can cause
heat and disturb the unit performance

IMPORTANT: Heat is emitted by the drying machine at a temperature that can reach 60 C. Make
sure the unit is placed on the floor that can bear high temperature. When operating the unit, t he room

temperature must not be lower than 5 C and higher than 35 C because it will affect the drying
performance.

Every work that is connected with the electric in this unit installation must be done by experienced and
professional technician.

The Color of the cable at the power cable shows code as the following:
Green and Yellow – Earth / Grounding
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
Green and Yellow cable must be connected to the terminal signed with the l etter or symbol (earth) or
in green and yellow color.

Part 3: How to Use

PREPARATION BEFORE OPERATING THE DRYING MACHINE
1. Make sure the electric source is in accordance with the installation guide.
2. Remove the thing and safety foam which is inside the drum.
3. Before it is used for the first time, it is recommended to clean the inside of the drum by putting
several pieces of moist cloth to the inside of the drum and then dry it for 30 minutes.
4. Sort the cloths that will be dried according to the fabric type and color.
5. Check the International Textile Care Label (ITCL) guide which is attached to the cloth.
6. Soft fabric such as stocking must be put in to the net bag.
7. Close the pillowcase to prevent small -sized clothing be pu t in to the inside. Hook the button,
zipper, pants and skirts.
8. Do not dry black -colored cloths with furry fabric such as towel in bright color, because the fur will
appear dark.
9. Squeeze and spread the shirt before it is dried.
10. Knitted fabric or the kinds will probably wrinkle a little during the drying. Do not dry it too dry for
this kind of fabric.
11. You can also dry item that is starched. However, to get the wanted starched effect, choose the
“Iron dry” program. To remove the star ch, wipe the inside of the drum after the drying process
with moist cloth and dry it.
12. It is recommended to dry big and small clothing together.
13. To prevent the cloths in becoming stiff, it is recommended to use cloth moisturizer at the washing
process or use special conditioner for fabric for the cloth drying machine (dryer) usage.
14. If certain item is still wet after it is dried, set the drying according to the time of at least 30 minutes.
This is needed especially for the part that is layered ( such as collar, pocket, etc).
15. Turn over the item with double layer of fabric so that the drying result is better.
16. Do not put in too much weight into the drying machine (dryer) to dry big things such as duvet or
sleeping bag because this will obstruct the air circulation inside the drying machine (dryer).
17. Do not make it too dry when drying the cloths, this is to avoid the tangling and so that it will be
easier to be ironed.

18. Make sure the air ventilation is good and the room temperature is not over 35 C. Cloths that will
be dried must have been SPIN or squeezed beforehand.
19. For the maximum result of drying, spin the laundry firstly before drying.

 OPERATION
- Open the door of the drying machine (dryer), then put in clothes that will be dried one by one, make
sure the cloth does not get stuck to the door or the filter.
- Choose the needed program by rotating the Choose the program knob.
- Indicator light on the start/pause button will turn on.
- This process will automatically stop if you do not press any button for 10 minutes.

The choosing button Is divided into some parts as the following:

- Cottons
- Synthetics
- Time
- Special

Automatic Drying
This automatic drying is applicable for Cottons, Synthetics, Anti -bacterial and Silk Progra m of drying
programs. The drying machine (dryer) will detect the moisture level of the cloth that will be dried and
automatically adjust the drying time according to the chosen drying program.

Drying With Timer Program

If needed, you can choose timer pro gram to dry the cloth as long as the drying time that you wanted.
Choose the 90 program or 60 minutes for cotton or 30 minutes program for synthetics. To cancel the
running program, rotate the program choosing knob to “O” position. At the end of the drying , rotate the
choosing knob to “O” position to turn of the machine before taking out the cloth.

Optional Program Button

To optimize the drying process, some drying program can be combined with “optional” program.
Optional program is chosen after choosing t he wanted drying program and before pressing the button
“start/pause”. When the button is pressed, the light indicator will turn on in accordance with the
chosen program function, when the button is pressed once again, the light will turn off.

Buzzer Button.
After turning on the unit, buzzer will not be activated if you do not choose any operation.
Buzzer function can be activated or non -activated during the process. By pressing the
“Buzzer” button, the bell will ring and buzzer indicator light will turn on. When the buzzer is
active, there will be a sound single in cases as the following :
- When pressing any button.
- at the end of program.
When the buzzer is active, if you press the “buzzer” button once again, the buzzer will turn
off.

Quick Button
This function can be chosen at program : “Heavy”, “Strong”, and “Normal”. By pressing this
button, the drying time will be reduced by 10 minutes ( 3 -5 minutes for ED 650). Lights on
“Quick” button will turn on. This option can not be chosen together with “De licate option”

Delicate
This option can be chosen at parts as the following:
“Cottons”,”Synthetics“, “Time”. If activating “Delicate” function, the drying will be done in
lower temperature, for soft -fabric cloths. The indicator light on “Delicate” button will turn on.
This function can also be used together with drying function in with time setting. This function
can be used in fast drying / “Quick”

Delay Start
This button allows you to delay the start of a program until 24 hours ( 12 hours for ED 650).
To activate this function, choose the wanted drying program then choose “Delay Start”
function, then “start/pause” button. Every time the “delay start” button is pressed, the delay
time is increased by 1 hour.

The “Delay start” function can be c hosen before or after choosing optional programs
(Buzzer, Quick, Delicate) , Countdown will start after you press the start / pause button and
the light indicator on “delay start” button will turn on. The time left is displayed on the display screen.
“Delay start” function can not be used at “special” program.

Display Screen
The display shows information as the following :
- After you choose the drying program, the duration of the drying program will appear on the
screen ( in hours and minutes). This can be counted automatically according to the maximum
weight that is received for every type of fabric and the chosen drying level. When the program
is started, the rest of the time is shown every 1 minute.

Delay start
- if you have chosen the delay time with using relevant button, the display screen will show the
countdown shown in per hours. “Delay/start” function will be started after the “start/pause”
button is pressed. If you want to check the chosen program, press the “start/pause” button
once more, then the display screen will show the program duration that is chosen beforehand.
“Delay start” function can not be used on “special” program.

Choosing the wrong program

- If you choose the program that is not compatible with the program you have chosen, the
screen will display ERS (error). This code will appear again if you have press one of the
button or rotate the program chooser during the process.

Indicator light on display screen ( ED 850).

- Indicator Light
Will turn on after the drying usage, this is to remind you to clean the condenser. It is
recommended to clean the condenser for three or four times a year.

- Indicator Light
- Will turn on every time a program is finished this is to remind you to empty the condensed
water container. NOTE! To avoid the alar m ringing when using the next program, empty the
condensed water container every time after using a drying program.

- Indicator Light
- Will turn on every time after using the unit, this is to remind you to always clean the filter. If
the filter is not clean, it will affect the efficiency of the drying process.

Start / Pause button

After choosing the drying program and optional program, press this button to start the drying process.
If the door of the drying machine (dryer) is opened when a program is runni ng, then after the door is
closed, press this button once more to start again the program from the point where it stopped. In this
case, the light on the “start/pause” button will blink to remind you that the start button need to pressed
once more.

Indicator light on control panel
This light shows these functions :
- “Child Lock” indicator light ( ED 850); This light shows that the program is locked.
- “Drying” indicator light. This light shows that the drying process is operating.
- “Cooling” indicator light. This light shows the cooling process is operating. At the end of the drying
process, it will be cooled, the cooling process will consume time in less than 10 minutes.
- “End” indicator light. This light will turn on at the end of the cooling phase, an d during the anti-
wrinkle phase
- “Filter“ indicator light ( ED 650) ; This light will turn on in every cycle and at the end of the program
to remind you that the filter must be cleaned.

Cooling process
Every drying program is ended with cooling process in 10 m inutes. If the cloth is not put out at the end
of the cycle, the machine will continue to the anti -wrinkle process with the duration: 30 minutes
maximum. After the anti -wrinkle process is done and the cloth is not put out, the drying machine
(dryer) will s top automatically. The screen display “end” and the sound/bell signal will active for 15
seconds (if the “buzzer” function is activated). To end it, rotate the program chooser knob to “O”
position, and all lights will turn off.

“Child Lock” function (ED 850)

When the machine is turned on, press the “Delicate” button and “Delay Start”
together for some seconds, then the system will lock everything, to stop this
function, press the same button together for some seconds.

Changing the chosen program

To change the running program, rotate the program chooser button to the position to cancel the
former program, then choose the new program, and press the start button.
Important!
If the drying program must be stopped before it rea ches the end, before putting out the cloth, we
recommend you to rotate the program chooser to “air dry” position and wait until the cooling process

Part 5: Maintenance
Drying machine (dryer) MODENA is designed specially for long term usage so that it does not need
complex maintenance. However, some maintenance procedures below are recommended for your
drying machine (dryer) maintenance.

Before doing the maintenance, make sure that the unit is not connected to the electrical source.

Control panel:
Wipe with a soft cloth and moist. Do not use rough objects to clean. Do not spray the cleaner directly
to the panel.

Some liquid dirt remover products can damage the finish on the control panel. Use these products
away from the dryer (dryer) and immediately wash your control panel if there is a spill or splash of
liquid.

Steel Tumbler:
To clean steel tumbler, use a damp cloth with a gentle cleanser that can be used to clean the surface
of the stainless material. Clean the rest of the cleaner with a clean cloth.

Outside of the Machine Dryer (dryer):

Wipe with a soft cloth and mois t. Do not use rough objects to clean. Protect the surface from sharp

Exhaust system Machine Dryer (dryer) ED 650:

Should be inspected and cleaned once a year to maintain optimal performance. The outer part of the
exhaust should be cleaned more frequently to ensure the operation of the dryer (dryer) right.

Lint Filter (ED 650):

Clean the lint filter after every drying finish.

Filter (ED 850):
- Clean the filter after every drying finish.
- The dryer will function properly only if the filters in a cl ean
condition.
- To ensure an effective working unit, the filter will filter and collect
yarn and fiber clothes during the drying process takes place.
- Indicator lights "Filter" function to remind you, that the filter
should be cleaned.
- For cleaning the filter should be removed.
- When drying, there is a detached fiber clothes, dryer (dryer) through the filter will capture and
collect the fibers.
- When the above happens, use a brush and warm water to clean the filter. Open the door and
remove the filter (see picture)

Doors:
periodically clean the inside of the door (especially ED 850) to
eliminate yarn and clothing fibers. Hygiene affects the effectiveness of

Emptying the water container (ED 850):

Water container holds all the water from the condenser. The water container needs to be emptied

2. Cleaning out the water

recommended that you clean the condenser three or four times a year.

1. Open the closure of the condenser. 2. Open two pairs of lock, then pull out the
condenser.

3. To clean the condenser, condenser put under the tap and flush
the water make sure all parts of the condenser is cleaned.

4. Follow the instructions above in reverse to install the condenser.

Temperature sensor (ED 850):
In the process, temperature sensor humidity levels inducing clothing, so the sensor surface should
certainly always in immaculate condition.

Replacing the lamp (ED 850):

1. Open the door of the unit, remove the screws

that are in the drum lights and remove the lamp.

2. Re move the light bulb by turning counter -

clockwise, being careful not to drop the bulb.

3. Put the new bulb, make sure the light bulb is

installed correctly and tight

4. Replace the lamp cover.

Part 6: Precautions

Important Safety Instructions should always be noticed when using this dryer:

- Clothes with metal accessories are not allowed to be dried with dryer. Dryer will be damaged if
the metal accessories are detached off when drying. Please use the drying rack to dry clothes
with metal accessories.
- Read all instructions meticulously before operating.
- Make sure the voltage printed on the dryer is suitable to the voltage at your home before
connecting this dryer to the electricity source.
- To avoid the possibility of fire:
a. Do not dry clothes which hav e been washed/soaked/sprinkled by gas, liquid solvent for dry
cleaning or other flammable liquids because those liquids produce gas that trigger explosion.
b. Clothes which are made up of latex or its kind are not allowed to be dried at hot temperature.
These materials, when heated at certain conditions, may produce fire spontaneously.
- Do not operate this dryer if the electricity wire or plugs are damaged, and do not function
accordingly.
