This pertains to your letter addressed to our office seeking for legal advice
pertaining to the letter request of MS. FLORA C. SIOCHI of Barangay Dampalit, Malabon
City concerning the Septic Tank of their neighbor which is allegedly unsanitary.

Presidential Decree No. 856 or the Code on Sanitation of the Philippines empowers
the Local Health Authority to make periodic inspections to buildings and other premises
without securing search warrants to enforce the maintenance of adequate sanitation
within their concerned premises.
