Through the reference 1* cited, the Government (Finance Dept.) accorded
sanction of 8 DDM&G Posts by up-gradation of 3 posts of Asst. Directors of Mines
and Geology as Deputy Directors of Mines and Geology and creation of 5 posts of
Deputy Directors of Mines and Geology duly suppressing 5 posts of Asst. Geologists
in Mines and Geology Department.
Subsequently, through the reference 2” cited, the Government (Inds.&Comm
Dept) issued orders for establishment of (8) Deputy Directors of Mines & Geology
Offices in the Districts i.e 1.Srikakulam, 2.Vizianagaram, 3.West Godavari,
4.Prakasam, 5.SPSR Nellore, 6. Chittoor, 7.Ananthapuram at the respective District
Head Quarters and 8, Krishna District Head Quarter at Vijayawada in addition to the
existing DDM&G Offices at Visakhapatnem, Kakinada, Guntur, Kadapa and Kurnool
keeping in view of the sanction accorded vide reference 1” cited duly winding up of
three (03) ZIDM&G offices, nine (09) ADM&G (Vigilance) offices and five (05)
Regional Mobile Squads (RMS) duly deploying the staff to work in Head Office, newly
created (08) DDM&G offices and ADMB&G Offices with the staffing pattern duly
deploying the staff from Zonal Offices & District Offices, so as to avoid illegal
transportation of minerals and to effective control over nook and corner of Mineral
Bearing areas at Village level / Mandal level of every District and also to get more
Mineral Revenue to the Government Exchequer.
‘Through the reference 3” cited, this office issued instructions with a direction
to identify suitable buildings with the plinth area permissible as per the
G.0.Ms.No.351, Transport, Roads & Buildings (B1) Dept., dt.06.07.1983 and
G.0.Ms.No.239, Industries & Commerce (M.I) Dept., ct.07.04.2000 with the help of
Ministerial staff and without disturbing the technical staff for establishing of new
DDMAG Offices in (8) Districts where now the DDM&G offices are not existing.
In order to implement the orders of the Government, the officers indicated at
table have been appointed as Incharge Officers and Supervising Officers for
establishment of new DDMAG offices as per the instructions issued vide reference
3 cited.

Further, the Incharge Officers are hereby directed to collect the files from the
concerned existing DDMA&G offices as instructed in the reference 4" cited.
Therefore, the Incharge Officers & Supervising Officers are requested to
function estate items of work enclosed to this order and see that the fe offices
function smoothly without any inconvenience to the public frags 11-02-2019,

offices for the last three years.
4. The extracts of Mineral Dealer License Registers and Leases grant
Registers shall be made available to the new offices.
5. Ust of Other Department where from the Segi.fee is being recovered
Pertaining to new office along with the amounts collected for the last
three years.
6. Reconciliation Register pertaining to Revenue Receipts/expenditure.

1. Copies of IAR and LAR files.
2. Along with the relevant Registers, for monitoring the pendency of the
paras.
¥) MISCELLANEOUS
1. Copies of the G.0’s instructions, guide lines issued by the Government
and Head Office from time to time shall be handed over to new offices.
2. Copies of relevant orders, guide lines in respect of sand and files
Pertaining to sand relevant to the new offices shall be handed over to
the new office.
3. CMP and representations/petition files. (
4. All the files received shall be allotted with a number by entering in
relevant Registers.
