11 WASTE MANAGEMENT

3.11.1 Types of waste

The table displayed below shows the wastes incurred for operation by the restaurant.

3.11.2 Disposal Methods

The disposal and collection of the wastes mentioned will be handled by the Quezon City
Government - Environmental Protection & Waste Management Department. The disposal of
grease from used cooking oils, under the city Ordinance 2691, will be taken care of by facilities
accredited by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and registered with the
city’s Environmental Protection and Waste Management Department. Initial handling of the
mentioned wastes will be handled by the restaurant crew assigned, as shown in the table below.

3.11.3 Projected Waste Management cost

All wastes are administered by the collection and disposal management of

Quezon city, therefore no monetary cost will be incurred by the company in terms of
waste management
