TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

As someone who has been working with children as a pediatric RN for

6 years. I was eager to apply to your Pediatrics Travel Nurse Job in
Boston, Massachusetts. I would be be a great addition to this hospital.
I have up to date BLS and PALS certifications and a specialty
certification in oncology.

I work quickly and accurately under the everyday pressures of a

hospital and tend to every detail of a patient’s needs. I take direction
well and lead when I am needed to. I work well with children and
tending to them in any department.

I have always admired traveling nurses who step up in an unfamiliar

hospital at a time when they are most needed. I have met all of the
qualifications and I am positive I would be a great addition to this
facility and to the American Traveler company and I look forward to
hearing from your company!

Thank you for your time,

Molly Pardun
Pediatrics Travel Nurse Job in Boston Massachusetts - RN Peds -

RNs in pediatric nursing jobs assess patient needs, document symptoms,
record medical histories, and provide bedside nursing care to children on the
floor. Additional duties of pediatric nurses are to draw blood, administer
medication, and give vaccinations. Peds nurses also assist a pediatrician
during patient examinations. Traveling pediatric nursing positions are
predominantly in hospitals and outpatient clinics, while permanent staff peds
RNs will also find openings in doctors’ offices. Pediatric nurses can seek
further specialization in pediatric oncology, dermatology, or cardiology, and
can cross-train in PICU and NICU to increase their competitiveness in the
travel market.
Job Skills / Requirements:
● Valid BLS and PALS from the American Heart Association
● A valid professional license within the state of practice
● Specialty-related certifications are recommended and may be
required for specific positions
● Proof of right to work in the United States
● Experience as a Peds RN in a hospital setting

Job Salary & Benefits:

Pediatric RN salaries tend to track with median salaries for registered nurses
overall. As in all nursing specialties, compensation depends upon years of
experience, facility type and location, the requirements of the particular
position and professional certifications. Earning a CPN certification can
further increase income, and pediatric subspecialties such as neonatal and
pediatric ICU are likely to earn higher pay. Travelers frequently earn pay that
exceeds that of the average staff nurse. Traveler incentives like referral
bonuses, housing stipends and travel allowances can also boost income.

“Great Recruiter = Great Experience

RN (Current Employee) – Texas – August 24, 2017
American Traveler is my first travel company I have used and I could not have asked
for a better experience. I have a great professional rapport with my recruiter; my
recruiter, Cassandra Levin, tries her best to get me the best travel assignment
possible, is on top of everything and hits me up with a text, phone call, or email at
LEAST once-twice a week. The reality is travel nursing is competitive, you won't
always get the pay or the location you want; but working with a positive recruiter
makes all the difference. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience with American
Traveler.
Pros
Flexible, multiple job opportunities, easily reached respresentatives, professionalism
Cons
No reimbursement of certifications”
●NOTES:
1. People appear to like being a travelling nurse through this company
2. They don’t reimburse you when you have to get further certification
3. It is best to partner with a good recruiter that can set you up with
proper housing and answer questions
