Symbolism/ SLEs 1 and 6

Announcement: Please give me your pictures yesterday if you did not give them to me. We will
start with ​STEP #5

STEP #1

Find an item in the room that has symbols. (HINT: The item is related to one of the SLEs) On
the blank paper provided, draw the object. LABEL the SYMBOLS.

STEP #2

Describe the object to a classmate without showing them the picture. Your classmate will write
their description on their GoogleDoc.

STEP #3

Choose ANOTHER item and repeat STEP #s 1 nd 2

STEP #4

Choose YET ANOTHER item and repeat STEP #s 1 and 2.

STEP #5

I will choose a few of you to be ​TEACHERS FOR A DAY!

STEP #6

Now, go to my novel website and do the Cornell Notes Questions for “Our Lady of Guadalupe.

You will work as a group but you must have your OWN documents. Share by the end of class
