The researcher intends to investigate the topic crime by looking at the effects of crime on the

society. The researcher choose this topic out of concern due to the high rate of crime currently in

his community. This research would benefit the researcher as a student of English because it help

the researcher to be more educated on the awareness of crime in his community. The researcher

intends to obtain information by use of the internet, and videos. Anticipated challenges includes

access to the internet. The information collected will be presents in the form of an oral

presentation.
