A pregnant woman needs to take nutritious food for her own health as well as the health of her foetus. The
foetus gets nutrition from its mother through the umbilical cord. Because of this, the mother has to take
nutritious, balanced and sufficient food for the foetus and herself. The diet of a pregnant woman must
include foods such as fish, eggs, milk, meat, fruits and vegetables

Describe the effects of tsunami on the environment

A huge tsunami can cause large destruction when it strikes land. Thousands of people are killed by
tsunamis. The collapse of buildings, electrocution, and gas explosions are other causes of death. Areas
that are close to the coast are flooded with sea water, damaging the infrastructure such as sewage
treatment and fresh water supply areas. Contamination of drinking water can cause diseases to spread
in tsunami-hit areas. Tsunamis also have a bad effect on insects, animals, plants, and natural
resources. Victims of tsunami events often suffer psychological problems which can last for days, years
or the entire lifetime.
