To Whom It May Concern:

It is an honor to write this letter recommending Paige Martin in her desire to pursue higher
education. I have known Paige since August of 2015 and I have been impressed in her dedication
and persistence in staying focused throughout high school. Paige was one of my first students as
my teaching career took off and I am overwhelmed and so proud of the amazing young woman
she has become! I was privileged to have Paige as a math student for two academic years which
included Integrated Math 2 and 3. Moreover, Miss. Martin managed to be helpful among her
peers and always maintained a positive attitude. Paige exceeded my expectations in class and
was one of my most excelling student in class and also obtained an overall GPA of 4.3.

Undoubtedly, Paige is a very focused individual that has amazing attributes and skills to
everything she does. I was able to observe Paige’s detailed dedication in her academics, her
ambitiousness to succeed, the passion she possess, and always having a diligent work ethic. Paige
always strives to do her best and it is demonstrated by being a perfectionist to all that she does.
Paige managed to succeed very well in her academics and has shined in the volleyball team at
school by being in the varsity team for all four years of high school. Equally important, Paige also
obtain a few awards which showcase her persona by earning the Academic Excellence for every
school year. She also earned a few honors in volleyball which are the Second Team All League
her junior year, First Team All League, and Best Offensive Volleyball Player her senior year. I had
the privilege of seeing her compete among other schools and saw the outstanding player that
Paige is on the court. Paige also completed community service hours in helping with youth
volleyball clinics, volunteered with animals, and was an Academic Mentor her junior and senior
year. On another note, Paige also committed herself to be part of AVID, the Environmental
Science Academy, and earn a white robe as a member of the California Scholarship Federation.
On top of school and volleyball, Paige had the ability to work for two years at a bagel shop.
Furthermore, Paige also enjoys her spare time by embracing creative writing, the essence of art,
and painting.

In closing, Paige is a humble young lady, loveable, and passionate about life. Paige’s goals are to
attend UC Santa Barbara and earn her degree in Psychology. She plans to use her degree to
become a therapist and help those in need. Lastly, Paige is an exceptional intelligent young lady
and an amazing asset; I highly recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue.
