Sub: Quarter-wise Targets in terms of Length to be constructed during 2019-

20 under PMGSY.

Sir/Madam,

Please refer Ministry of Rural Development's letter No. P-17018/2/2019-RC

dated 6th March, 2019 vide which the annual targets was fixed for PMGSY in
respect of 9,454 Nos. habitation to be connected by constructing of 52,502 km of
road length during 2019-20 based on the balance habitation and road length
available with the States as per sanction by the MoRD. In continuation of this, the
undersigned is directed to communicate the quarter-wise targets in terms of Length
to be constructed during 2019-20 based on trend of quarterly achievement during
I
2018-19. Care has been taken to ensure that the cumulative target for the first three
'
quarters for any state does not exceed the awarded length available with the state on
date. The states will be requested to award the remaining un-awarded length within
next two months, so that the work can commence and completed length is available
from these works in the fourth quarter of year 2019-20.

2. The statement showing State-wise, quarter-wise targets of length is attached

(Annexure-1) for your reference.

3. It is requested to kindly issue needful direction to concerned officials to go

through the projected quarterly target and intimate if any changes are required in the
Quarter-wise target fixed for the state latest by 15th May, 2019.
