Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Garden: $20 each. 12:00-4:30. themed gardens,
art galleries, collection of rare books, currently have an archimedes exhibit, 1400's gutenburg
bible, Rembrandt, furniture by frank lloyd wright, a ton of paintings by people I've never heard

Los Angeles County Museum of Art: $15 each/ free after 3:00 for la county residents. 11:00-5:00.
huge visual art collection, with a special place for modern art we can avoid, Diego Rivera, Kahlo,
Picasso, Gauguin, Monet, Warhol, Matisse, Raphael, Michaelangelo, van gogh, Dali. Central

Pasadena Museum of California Art: $7 each. 12:00-5:00. California Art, I would guess a lot of
modern art, but google images make it look like a bit more than that. Pasadena.

pretty old stuff, but google image search looks like mostly modern art. Pomona, east, past that

Raymond M Alf Museum of Paleontology: $6 each. 8:00-4:00. Dino stuff, duh. Claremont, way

San Fernando Museum of Art: Free? 11:00-3:00. Seems pretty rinkydink, but one exhibit
advertised was a dia de los muertos exhibit. Hard to tell what the theme of the art/history is. It's

University Art Museum: $4 each, free on thursdays. 12:00-5:00. Multimedia art, hard to tell what

Griffith Observatory: Free/planetarium shows $7 each. 12:00-10:00. Astronomy stuff, telescope

USC Fisher Museum of Art: Free. 12:00-5:00. Classical painting through modern, no artists I've
heard of, large collections of 17th, 18th century paintings. South of downtown.
