OMNIGLOTZZ

German event

The event Omniglotzz was an initiative taken by
the IB batch 2018 -2020 under the guidance and
support of Centre for International Business head
Anuj Sharma ,Rupali Singh ,Saloni Sinha and
Archana Singh. It was organised to enhance the
knowledge of foreign language and cross-cultural
competencies of students .
As we are learning German so to have more
insights about the country and how things work
there, we all planned the activities and
performances which were done by group efforts of
all 17 of us.
The event was started by the Introduction of the
country which included lines from the speech of
Angella Markel its chancellor, telling about the
values of the constitution and the diverse culture
present in Germany. After that there was
teaching lessons of German and Business
etiquettes to engage among the crowd . Further
there was a heart touching performance on
nursery rhymes which were recited in German.
There was a discussion done on the automobile
brands that came out from Germany , followed by
the information on the famous personalities like
Anne Frank , Einstien and Hitler.
Major attraction in Germany is its oktober fest for
which stall was also placed for the drinks ( appy
fizz and Fanta ) for the guests , teachers and
students . There was an act on berlin wall which
included demolishing the handmade wall showing
the reunification of west and east Germany. The
event was ended with a very beautiful dance
performance where all the students tappedtheir
feet and the event ended in great positivity.

Sharma because of whom this event has become
successful.
