3. Tasks to do this week

- Leanne – Continue with structural page

o Need to include exploded axos of glulam/loadbearing/steel frame
o Need to include process diagrams of how we are going to remove existing
concrete and replace with steel façade retention frame
o Included precedents from Glulam (MUMA Hall), Wonky Columns (Peckham
Library), Load-bearing + Façade Retention (Can use same precedent we did when
we selected our strategy from the 3)
- Smriti – Produce 3 Sections through the whole project
o not just one key space but each through whole scheme
o populate these with furniture/people/make them match with our style – this will
form the base drawing
o Then: For each section create two overlays – one for ventilation + one for
daylighting that we can click on and off with buttons! We can add more layers later
on if we need to
- Estelle – 1) Update meeting the team page
§ Start arranging this on an A3 (I think you may have already done this) and
continue to update the graphs and collecting images for each week!
o 2) Produce some zoomed out urban sections and a zoomed out plan with
more context
§ I will send an example from my PS1 that the tutors seemed to like
§ These should show the relationship of our building with the neighbouring
context e.g. the housing blocks and the park
- Lauren – Continue with Sefaira Studies
o We should try and aim to have a page set up for each of the spaces you have
analysed in the way we did the hall one
- Toby – Continue with Elevations
o Elevation of Office Block influenced by sefaira
o Elevation of Behind Scheme facing housing estate

4. Tasks to do until end of PS2!

separate rooms
§ Drainage – Connection between our pipes and sewers under road /
rainwater collection etc.

- Estelle
o Finish Site Sections and Site Plan – Fit on one page
