Before the examination day at MHT CET 2019

Please download Hall Ticket from website


https://mhtcet2019.mahaonline.gov.in

HALL TICKET Recheck the details mentioned in Hall Ticket such as Name,
Application Number, Login ID, Exam Date, Time and Session
as well as the PwD status.

It is mandatory for you to bring the printout of the Hall Ticket and a
photograph to be affixed on it, valid Photo ID proof in original for
identity verification to the examination centre on the day of
examination.

Note: NO color Xerox/photocopy/softcopy of ID Proof will be allowed

Before the examination day – Do’s

Print the Hall Ticket on an A4-size Paper, preferably using


a Laser Printer - Hall Ticket is valid only if the Candidate's
photograph and signature images are legibly printed.

Make necessary arrangements for travel, food, accommodation (if any) and
any other expenses (including those on account of medical emergencies).

Before leaving for the Exam Centre, Candidates are requested


to verify and carry their original ID proof and the printed
MHT-CET 2019 Hall Ticket along with photograph.

Identify mode of transport and commute time required at least a day before
the Exam Day to reach the Exam Centre on time on the day of the Exam.

Ensure to Affix the same Photograph, uploaded during


application process, as required, in the space provided on
the Hall Ticket before handing over for verification at the
Test Centre.

Report at the Test center 1 Hour 30 Minutes before the


exam start time.

Deposit all personal belongings such as mobile phone, bag, wallets, Jackets,
Jewelry, watch, electronic gadgets, stationary items, etc. at the Test Centre
Entrance Gate.

Maintain silence and remain in Queue during (a) entry to Test


Centre (b) Manual Frisking (c) document verification and (e)
exiting the Test Centre.

Co-operate with Exam center staff during document Verification and Frisking.

Use the Roll Number printed on the Hall Ticket, to check the
location of Exam Lab from the List displayed on the Notice
Board at the Test Centre.

At the Console, use the Mouse to select the Option(s) as


Answers for MCQ.

Return Rough Sheets post the Exam to the Invigilator.

Ask for any technical help only from Test Centre Invigilator
during exam.

Provide your attendance in the Form with signature when asked for in
the Exam Lab.

Post Exam, take your Hall Ticket along with you duly signed by
Invigilator present in the Exam Lab.

Candidature will be cancelled if a candidate is found to appear


for the test multiple times.

Do not request entry to the Test Centre post the gate closure time. Gate will
not be opened till the end of exam.

Do not carry any prohibited item such as electronic gadgets etc.


inside the Exam Lab.

Do not attempt to cheat or copy answers from others during the Exam.

Do not involve yourself in any arguments with other Candidates


or Test center staff. Decision of concerned authority will be
treated as final on the test day.

Do not disturb other Candidates.

Do not provoke any other Candidate to commit or participate in any form of


malpractice.

Do not use the keyboard at any point of time; this will lock
your computer system.

Do not request for a bio-break while inside the Exam Lab unless it is a
Medical emergency.

Do not have friends and relatives accompany beyond the


Test Centre gate.

Do not request for change of Test Centre/Exam Lab/Console


on the Exam Day.

Do not waste rough pages as it is distributed only once per Candidate


during course of the Exam. Also do not exchange rough sheets. If caught,
candidate will be banned from the exam.

Do not carry any page from the provided rough sheets


outside the exam lab after the test.

Before the examination starts - Personal Belongings

All personal belongings would be kept aside at the Frisking Point.

Note: MHT-CET 2019 Test center authorities would not take any
responsibility for loss of items.

There would be No Facility at the Test Center for safekeeping of


Candidate’s personal belongings outside the Exam Lab. Exam
conducting Agency would not be responsible for its damage or loss (if
any).

Before the examination starts – Document Verification

After completion of the Frisking process, Candidates would be asked to


proceed for Document Verification, which includes:
 Candidate’s Hall Ticket (with affixed photograph)
 Original valid photo identity proof
 Other documents (if any) would be checked at this Desk **

** Other documents include the declaration from PwD Candidate availing


Scribe/Writer.

Note: The Hall Ticket used here is for Representational Purpose only.

 Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card

Document Verification (Contd.)

 The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on


the Hall Ticket, in the Attendance List and requisite documents
submitted.

 If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may not be allowed


to appear for the Examination.

• Please note that Ration card and Learning Driving License are not
valid ID proof for MHT-CET 2019 and hence will not be entertained.

• The Person with disability claiming the facility of allotment of extra time
and / or scribe should bring all relevant supporting documents and
proof of identity for the Scribe in the Proforma-A given in the
Information Brochure/Website.

During the examination - Computer Based Test (CBT) Format

Once candidates are ready to take the Exam. Please note the following important information.
Note: The computer mouse must be used for answering the questions. Using the keyboard will lock the
computer system.

Important Instructions:
 The Medium of the Exam is English, Marathi and Urdu. Urdu and Marathi language question papers will be
available for candidates who have opted these languages as their preferred question paper language.
 Candidate should choose an appropriate response.
 No mark will be awarded for questions which are not attempted.
 PwD candidates would be given an extra of 20 minutes extra per hour for each Section. (refer to page 10)
 The timer on the Screen would display the remaining time for the Section being answered.
 On completion of exam, the timer would reach ‘Zero’ and the Section would be locked. The ‘Submit’ button
would be enabled. By clicking the ‘Submit’ button the Candidate can move to the next Section, else Exam will
be auto-submitted.
 Candidates would not be allowed to leave the Exam Lab before completion of the Exam.

Procedure for appearing in Computer Based Test (CBT):

1. Sample mock test will be available on: https://mhtcet2019.mahaonline.gov.in/

2. For login, the candidate will have to enter login-ID and password . The computer terminal allotted to the
candidate will display WELCOME login screen

3. After login, the candidate shall be able to see the


detailed instructions for the examination.
Candidates are advised to go through the
instructions carefully regarding the type of
questions and marking scheme.

4. At the designated time of start of the examination,


the candidates will be able to proceed and see the
questions on the computer screen.

5. After reading all the instructions, candidate will click Next, where candidate shall select the check box after
reading the declaration which enables the “I am ready to begin” button.
The keyboard attached to the computer,
if any, will be disabled during the entire
duration of the examination. Candidates
will have the option to change/modify
answers already entered anytime during
the entire duration of the examination.

In case the computer/mouse allotted to


any candidate malfunctions anytime
during the test, he/she will be
immediately allotted another computer
system and the time lost due to this will
be adjusted in the server so as to give
the candidate the full allotted time.

6. The on-screen computer clock counter of
every candidate will be set at the server. The
countdown timer in the top right side of
computer screen will display the time
remaining (in minutes) available for the
candidate to complete the examination. When
the timer reaches zero, the examination will
end by itself. Candidate will not be required to
end or submit the examination.

7. Candidate can click on the “ “ arrow which appears to the left of question palette to collapse the question
palette thereby maximizing the question window. To view the question palette again, candidate can click on
“ “ which appears on the right side of question window.

8. To view all the questions candidate can click the ‘Question Paper’ button. This feature is provided, so that if
they want the entire question paper at a glance.

9. The Question Palette displayed on


the right side of screen will show the
status of each question using one of
the following symbols:

10. To answer a question, do the following:

• Save & Next: Saves Response / Answer and moves to the next Question.
• Clear Response: Clears the selected Response / Answer for the given question only.
• Mark for Review & Next: Would mark question for review for later. The question may either be
answered or may not be answered. If answered, the Response / Answer would be recorded and also
marked for reviewing later. At the end of the section time, this question would be considered as
‘Answered’.

11. Navigating through sections:


 Sections are displayed on the top bar of the screen.
 From any section candidate will be able to move to the next section only
after completing a minimum time allocated to each section.
 The section candidate is currently viewing will be highlighted.

12. Changing the response of a question, do the following:

 To deselect the chosen answer, click on the question number on the


palette and click on the ‘Clear Response’ button.
 To change the chosen answer, click on the bubble of another option.
 To save the changed answer, candidate MUST click on the ‘Save & Next’
or ‘Mark for Review & Next’ button.

13. Candidates would also be able to view other details such as:
Question Paper: View entire question of a particular Section at a
time by clicking on the “Question Paper” button at the top right
corner of the screen.

Profile: View Candidate profile related information available at the


right of the screen.

Instructions: View the Exam-related instructions at any point of time by clicking on the
“Instructions” button at the top right corner of the screen.

14. For the candidate who have opted for a zoom feature, they will find two magnifying glass icons at the
top of the screen. Click on icon to zoom-in and click on icon to zoom out of any question.

15. Once the Exam is complete candidates would need to provide their Feedback on Exam experience on
the Form available on their Console

During the examination - Persons with Disability (PwD) Candidates

All PwD Candidates would be assigned Rooms either on the ground floor, or to any
other floor, which would be accessible, by an Elevator.

If scribe is found to be copying, the candidature of PwD candidate will be


cancelled.

Each of the centers, where PwD candidate are scheduled, would have a
designated PwD Coordinator to assist the PwD Candidates.

The candidate has to fill the declaration form for scribe/writer in the prescribed
format. The format can be downloaded from the online system.

Paste photographs of candidate and the scribe/writer and put signatures and submit this declaration form before
reporting to the examination hall on the examination day to the “Venue Officer”. The candidate shall produce the
disability certificate in original along with Hall Ticket to the “Venue Officer” at the time of examination.

PwD Candidates who have opted for a Scribe (shown on the Hall Ticket) would be allowed to bring a Scribe
(Candidates would have to arrange for the scribe. MHT-CET would not arrange the scribe).

Post examination

After the exam is over, handover the Rough sheets to the Invigilator.

Other important instructions
 After given mentioned Gate closure time no candidate will be allowed to appear for the MHT-CET 2019.

 The MHT-CET 2019 examination will close as per time given in the Hall Ticket, under any circumstances NO
EXTRA TIME will be given to any candidate.

 Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches, Smart watches with built in
calculators/ memory or any electronics gadgets are not be allowed in the examination hall.

 Candidates will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall till the end of the Examination. After completion of
the test candidate will not be allowed to re-enter the Test Hall.

 Candidates found using any unfair means will forfeit their chance of being considered for admission and will be
debarred from Examination and Admission Process of MHT-CET 2019.
