high level of engineering excellence in innovative design and construction in modular style
plants. This Micro LNG Plant will be as domestic transport industry and was designed to meet very
strict environmental standards. Our designers utilize process simulation and vessel hydraulic
modelling techniques along with 3D drafting systems to ensure optimisedturn key solutions are
provided in a timely and effective manner. 3D design is a key core competency of GLPs, guaranteeing
accuracy and a high level of quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Micro LNG Plants are
no exception.ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY One of the greatest challenges facing modern day
society is the need to reduce emissions worldwide. By embracing alternative fuels such as Liquefied
Natural Gas (LNG), we are able to meet the concerns presented by climate change and make the
transition to a lower emissions economy. LNG is a key transitional fuel allowing us to reduce
emissions by incorporating energy from renewable sources.Releasing around 20% less greenhouse
gases compared to diesel, LNG plays a key factor in the range of measures that need to be taken to
meet rising demand for energy on both a national and global level. This makes it an ideal fuel source
for the future of the transport industry. Further advantages of using LNG for heavy vehicles include;
reduction frequency of oil changes, reduction of noise and particulate emissions, and extended
engine life.

Inlet Distributor
The FXIntSepTM is a simple, dualvane inlet device used in horizontal separators where there is a
requirement for reasonable flow distribution with low shear and pressure drop. In horizontal vessels this is
suited to top entry. Benefits of this device compared with simpler deflectors such as deflector plates or
dishes include reduced agitation and hence improved 2 and 3 phase operational performance, more stable
level control, and reduced foaming.

Cyclone Inlet Distributors

The FXIntSepTM is a cyclonic inlet device used in horizontal and some vertical separators where there is a
requirement for high momentum dissipation, foam reduction and high capacity. A characteristic of the
FXIntSepTM is its high flow capacity, meaning that more throughput is possible through any given size
separator.

Multi Vane Inlet Distributor

The FXIntSepTM VID is a device used in horizontal and vertical separators where there is a requirement for
good flow distribution with minimum shear and pressure drop. In horizontal vessels the FXIntSepTM VID is
suited to both end entry as illustrated below, and top entry by means of an elbow directed towards the
head. Benefits of this device compared with simpler deflectors include reduced agitation and hence
improved 2 and 3 phase operational performance, more stable control, and reduced foaming.

Perforated Baffle Plates

FXIntSepTM PBP are designed and manufactured to be installed in sections through a vessel manway and
are either self reinforced using webs on the panels, or in larger vessels may be additionally supported with
separate stiffening beams.

Hydro Transportation System

Hydro transportation devices are considered by some to be the “latest generation” of sand removal devices.
The operating principle is the introduction of wash water in a vortex manner. While effecting initial
mobilisation of accumulated solid particles, an area of low pressure is produced at the centre of the induced
vortex, which is utilised, by means of strategically placed piping, to transport the produced slurry out of the
vessel.

Solids Removal
Much work has been performed on the development of sand or sludge removal systems from separators
over many years. However, no single “sand jet” system has evolved as clearly superior, rather there are a
number of design features to choose from depending on the characteristics and nature of the problem.

HIGH PERFORMANCE GAS SCRUBBER

APPLICATIONS
ProSympac’s High Performance Gas Scrubber removes traces of liquid droplets from gas streams to
protect downstream equipment from damage and failure. It is typically used upstream of gas
treating equipment that contains dry desiccants or mechanical equipment such as compressors. It is
also used downstream of equipment where liquids have condensed from the gas. The High
Performance Gas Scrubber is designed to handle light liquid loads and does not take the place of a
primary separator. Vessels are available with natural gas capacities 5 and 10 million standard cubic
feet per day (MMscfd).

High performance scrubber have two part internals, mist eliminator and gas coalescing element. gas
coalescing elements deliver extremely high removal efficiencies of liquid and solid aerosols in air
and gas applications. The highest quality components are selected to optimize the performance of
these elements in typical and compressed air and gas processes.
Industry standard rated at 0.3 micron to efficiently capture the most difficult size contaminants.

SCREW ON IMMERSION HEATER
We have extensive experience in these screw plug immersion heaters, which are commonly used for heating
static or circulating water, rinsing baths, special oils, acids, heat transfer media, heavy fuel oil or gas. Screw-on
immersion heaters are made of three or six copper, stainless steels or incolloy heating elements, depending on
the heated fluid, brazed or welded on assembly plugs, with metric or British thread sizes. They are used for
heating static or circulating water, oils or other specific liquids, air or gasses, at a maximum operational pressure
of 15 bars. Power ranges from 100 W to 35 kW, for 230 V – 380 V – 690 V or other specified voltages. Watt
densities are adapted to the customers’ requirements. ATEX certified products are available for explosive
atmospheres.

BOTTOM TANK IMMERSION HEATERS

The bottom tank immersion heater is made up of 3 or 6 tubular heating elements generally mounted in a circle,
brazed or welded to a brass, steel or stainless steel screw plug.
The watt density and the various type of material used for the tube heating elements are adapted to the nature
of the heated liquid.

FLANGED IMMERSION HEATERS

These heaters are particularly suitable for heating and maintaining the temperature of large volumes or heating
circulating fluids such as water, heavy fuel oil, thermal fluid, air or gas. They can be fitted on tanks, boilers and
circulation preheaters and are the best electrical heating system for a range of industries such as food
processing, chemicals, textiles, plastics etc. The stainless steel or incolloy heating elements are generally hairpin
bended and are welded to the DIN/ASA standardized flanges according to procedures which have CODAP, TÜV
and ASME approval. The watt density, ranging from 0.1 to 15 W/cm², is determined from the working
parameters of the process and the exchange coefficients. For a maximum immersion length of 3300 mm, the
power delivered by a flange immersion heater can reach several MW.

PROCESS CIRCULATION HEATERS

Forced circulation fluid heaters are particularly suited to the heating of liquids such as water, superheated
water, heavy oil, fuels, oils and thermal fluids and to the heating of gases under pressure such as air, steam
(superheater), nitrogen, hydrogen, methane, etc. Defined specifically for each industrial application, these
heaters consist of one or more steel or stainless steel bodies linked hydraulically in series and/or in parallel and
meet the requirements conforming to the PED European Directive. To prevent corrosion problems related to the
working fluid and operation temperature, the constituting elements of the heating array are built with the
appropriate stainless steel. The heating elements and the bundle spacers are designed to obtain the optimal
heat exchange coefficient. The heating array, with a maximum immersion length of 3300 mm, can be equipped
with temperature control devices to regulate the sheath watt density (W/cm²) as a function of parameters such
as fluid flow, pressure, viscosity, fluid temperature, sheath skin temperature, etc.
Built in accordance with the construction codes specified for the pressure and temperature in question (CODAP,
ASME, TEMA, STOOMWEZEN), these assemblies allow very high power ratings to be reached (= 2000 kW) and
the controlling of circulation speeds, essential characteristics for guaranteeing an excellent thermal exchange.

INDUSTRIAL AIR DUCT HEATERS

The air duct heaters for circular or rectangular duct are made up of one or several bended tubular heating
elements, sometimes finned heating elements, fixed on a galvanized frame or steel or stainless steel sheet to
suit the working environment. The electrical connection is made in carbon steel or stainless terminal box to
avoid corrosion. The air duct heaters or air streams are used to heat industrial premises, heat treatment, water
stress, and for any other industrial processes.
Ribbed resistance heaters are ideal for the convection-heating of air in stoves, industrial ovens, drying cabinets
and facilities, air-conditioning equipment etc. Ribbed heaters are generally used to heat air or non corrosive gas
by natural or forced convection. The heating elements are made of Z6 CNT 18-10 stainless steel (ST. ST. AISI 321)
tubes of diameters 8.5, 10, 13 and 16 mm. The sheaths are fitted without clearance with electrogalvanized steel
ribs. Equipped with crimped steel fittings (M14 or M21), the heating elements are delivered with joints and nuts;
B500 type flat connecting terminals are used to realize the electrical connection

POME BIOGAS SYSTEM

Palm Oil processing gives rise to highly polluting waste-water, known as Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME),
which is often discarded in disposal ponds, resulting in the leaching of contaminants that pollute the
groundwater and soil, and in the release of methane gas into the atmosphere. POME is an oily wastewater
generated by palm oil processing mills and consists of various suspended components. POME has a very
high Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) around 45000-10000 ppm. The technology is aimed to promote
sustainability of the palm oil industry. In addition, it is envisaged that POME can be sustainably reused as a
fermentation substrate in production of various metabolites through biotechnological advances. In
addition, POME consists of high organic acids and is suitable to be used as a carbon source.

Anaerobic digestion is widely adopted in the industry as a primary treatment for POME. Biogas is produced
in the process in the amount of 20 m3 per ton FFB. This effluent could be used for biogas production
through anaerobic digestion. At many Palm-oil mills this process is already in place to meet water quality
standards for industrial effluent. The gas, however, is flared off. Treatment of Palm Oil Mill Effluent through
biogas plant obtain more benefit to get environmental compliance, reducing green house gas emission,
reducing waste area and generate high profit by utilization of renewable energy for power generator.
Anaerobic condition make the organic waste is broken down and methane gas is produced

LANDFILL GAS SYSTEM

LFG is a natural byproduct of decomposition of organic material in municipal solid waste in anaerobic
condition and contains about 50% methane (CH4) and 50% carbon dioxide (CO2). LFG is a major
Green House Gas (GHG) with methane in LFG having 21 times more potential in global warming than
carbon dioxide. Methane in LFG is highly flammable and has explosion risk but can be treated as an
asset, Able to combust more cleanly than coal and emits less CO2 per unit of energy., with a Higher
Calorific Value of 55,500 kJ/kg.
